As this unit is ground floor, there are no stairs, and you can access the common area courtyard directly from your private lanai. Nicely furnished, this property offers air-conditioning (living room only), a comfortable living space that includes a sofa sleeper, large flat screen TV and dining area. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an in-unit washer/dryer. The bedroom offers a Cal King bed and includes a TV. The solar heated swimming pool is ideally situated at the ocean edge just in front of a sandy area to lounge, sunbathe and watch sunsets. Next to that is a paved picnic area with gas barbecues. A unique infinity salt water pool is directly next to the ocean. The Salt Water pool is adjacent to but not on the Kona Isle property and it is owned by the State of Hawaii. Use at your own risk. The town of Kailua (shopping and restaurants) is a short walk as are beaches, snorkeling, and the Ali'i Garden Marketplace. A local trolley stops directly in front of Kona Isle. Free Wi-Fi access is provided with the unit. Minimum night varies seasonally 5 - 10 nights. This is a No Pets, Non-Smoking Property. Once the reservation is paid in full and rental policies are signed, we provide directions from the airport to the property with access codes. We are happy to assist you with any information, recommendations or assistance with any issues in the home. Our office is open 7 days a week and you have free access to Kona Concierge as part of your reservation. Kona Alii Drive Most people rent a car while visiting the Big Island so they can explore the entire island. For those not wanting to drive, there are taxis available. Each guest is expected to agree to Kona Coast Vacations Rental Policies at time of booking, a copy of the policies is available on our website. These include the house rules for the condo complex or private home. Travel insurance is available. Rates and availability are subject to verification at time of booking. Cleaning fee is combined with a service fee & Peace of Mind Protection. We take pride in the cleanliness of our properties but please be advised pests will enter the homes though open doors, windows and even hitchhike in on luggage, packages, or your person. These may include geckos, ants, cockroaches, palmetto bugs, etc. – all common in this tropical environment.
