The Meadow is your Backyard! This is a two level home. Bedroom 1 is the the Master bedroom. It is located downstairs. It has a queen feather bed with down comforter and a large private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub/shower. This spacious room has Fire TV, a gas fireplace, a designated work space and a lovely meadow view. It also has access to the outside decks Bedroom 2 is also located downstairs. It has a queen bed. It has full private bathroom Bedroom 3 is located on the main floor along with the dinning room, living room and fully equipped kitchen. A full bathroom is nearby. There is a view of the meadow from this room and a private entrance off the deck. There is a Laundry Room for your use in the house. All 3 bedrooms have a queen bed with electric blankets for winter. Safeway is the nearest grocery store, 7-10 minutes from the house. WINTER INFO: Plan your ski trip! The house is located less than 10 minutes from Heavenly's California Base Lodge. Kirkwood Ski Resort is a 45 minute drive. Sierra at Tahoe is a 20 minute drive. If you prefer, you can just stay home and go cross country skiing, go for a snowshoe (2 pair of snowshoes here that you can use) or build a snowman in the meadow. Come back into the house and relax by the River Rock Fire Place. SUMMER INFO: CALIFORNIA BEACHES: Pope Beach, Baldwin Beach, Kiva Beach and the Beach at Camp Richardson are just 10 minutes from the house. Nevada Beach, a beautiful, long, sandy beach, just over the Stateline in Nevada is 15 minutes from here. Beach towels and beach umbrella available. Take a bike ride or just relax around the house, in the garden, in the meadow, on the decks or in the hammock. Trout Creek runs behind the house and several guests have caught brook trout here. Bring your pole if you'd like. Fishing opens June 30th. You must walk down one flight of outdoor steps to enter the main level of the house. The kitchen, dining area, living room deck and Bedroom 3 and Bathroom 3 are located on this main level. The Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2 are one flight of stairs down from the main level. The hammock is located on the lower deck outside the Master Bedroom. There is a 52" Smart TV in the living room. Netflix and Amazon Prime are available here. You can sit and watch a movie by the fire or read a book. Washer/Dryer and an ironing board are available. I have been a full time resident of South Lake Tahoe for over 50 years. I teach English as a Second Language at Lake Tahoe Community College. I appreciate mature, adult guests who are grateful for and enjoy the natural beauty of our surroundings. It's very quiet and peaceful here.
