The 2-bedroom Ohana (Family Suite) is the largest and has the most privacy of any suite at AlohaAKU including 950 sqft of living space. The 300 sqft covered private lanai sits high among the palms and feels like you're in a tree house. Located upstairs, above the property's storage garages, the Ohana sports a view of the State protected La'ie wetlands and our lovely gardens. It has its own private entrance, yet is only 35 steps from the ocean. Please be aware this unit does not have a direct ocean view. The large living room, kitchen, and dining area gives guests the feeling of being right at home. The 2-bedrooms each have their own bathroom/walk-in shower area as well as in-room Flat Screens, HDTV, DirecTV and their own AC’s. A great place for 2 couples or small family to have the privacy they want and the space they need to enjoy the Maui / Aloha Aku experience. Aloha Aku is well situated to be your base of operations to explore the rest of the Maui island, just twenty minutes from the airport and are within easy walking distance of nearby groceries, shopping, pupu bars (appetizers), dozens of eateries, bars, car rentals, dive shops, and much more. When guests return to the property they say it ‘feels like home’. Some never leave the property during their visit, happy to just lounge around and suntan from their private lanai or on the beach out front! Suites include air conditioning, ceiling fans, free high speed Wi-Fi, free designated on property parking, key codes for everything (no keys or cards to worry about), flat screen HD TV's with DirecTV in the living room and in the separate bedrooms.
