Location! Location!!! Aloha, if you are looking for the perfect place to call home in Maui, you just found it! Our condo is walking distance to everything in South Kihei! Plus it's central location makes it the perfect place to explore the rest of the island from. Our family friendly owner managed (no dealing with unresponsive property managers), 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom 3rd floor beach condo, is all about location! The condo is located in a laid back complex with a nice mix of vacationers, part-time residents, as well as some full-time residents so it feels more like a home away from home. It's great for families or vacationers who want a fun but relaxed environment - this is not a loud party building like many of the complexes close by! There is a very nice community pool and hot tub to relax in as well as several BBQs if you feel like grilling. The best part of the location is that it is right across the street from a couple of beautiful secret beaches and coves as well two of South Maui's most breathtaking beaches, Charley Young Beach and Kamaole Beach Park 1, where you can take long walks on the sand, snorkel with sea turtles, watch Humpback whales swim by, play volleyball, work on your tan, and witness a world famous Maui Sunset. If you feel like taking surfing lessons or trying Stand Up Paddle Boarding, the world famous Maui Waveriders Surf School is just a short walk up the street across from the best beginner surf spot in all of Maui. There are also lots of other activities close by including kayaking, golfing, pickleball, and tennis. Feel like an evening out? You are a short walk in either direction to some of the best restaurants, bars, nightlife, and shopping in South Kihei including Tripadvisor #1 Ranked Kinaole Food Truck, Kalama Village, Kihei Caffe (#1 breakfast on Maui), Paia Fish Market, Coconut's Fish Tacos, Cafe O'Lei, Haui's Life's a Beach, and Three's Bar & Grill, just to name a few. There are also lots of quick bites, food trucks, a health food store, a convenience store, and a supermarket close by plus plenty of souvenir shops. Wailea is only a 5 minute drive to the south where there are plenty of upscale dining options (Monkeypod, Ko, Ferraro's, Duo, Spago) as well as high end shopping at the Shops at Wailea. The condo itself is bright and airy with a large sliding glass door that opens up from the living room to the lanai (balcony) which offers a nice little ocean view. There is a flat screen TV with cable, Wifi, a Firestick, and high speed internet. Both bedrooms have queen beds, flat screen TVs with cable (no streaming), full-size dressers, plenty of closet space, blackout curtains, and BRAND NEW AIR CONDITIONERS! Each bedroom has its own bathroom with full bathtubs and showers. We also provide hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, extra towels, blankets, pillows, and anything else you might need to feel right at home. We also provide you with plenty of beach gear including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, towels, and a cooler. For families with little ones, we provide a pack and play, bed bumpers, a booster chair, BPA free plates and utensils, and 2 toddler floaties. Our condo can best be described as casual, fun and beachy. It's in good condition and is always professionally cleaned but if you are looking for a luxury condo, this is not Wailea. Kihei is best suited for guests who are laid back and just want to enjoy the sunshine and beach vibes in a kick back and casual environment. If being close to everything is important to you and you prefer to walk rather than drive, then our condo is the perfect place for you. Welcome to your Maui home away from home! Full access to entire condo. I live 10 minutes away and can answer any questions or respond quickly if anything is needed. South Kihei is Maui's only true beach town. If you want to have it all - the best beaches, the best restaurants, shopping, snorkeling, surfing etc. all within walking distance then South Kihei is where you want to be. Unlike other parts of Kihei or even Wailea, you don't have to drive to get everywhere. You can literally walk to have breakfast at the best breakfast spot in Kihei, then go right across the street to take surf or stand up paddle board lessons at the Cove. Then after, head back across the street for some lunch and some shopping at Kalama Village. Plus South Kihei has the most sunshine of any part of the island. With it's mix of locals, part time residents, and visitors South Kihei definitely has something for everyone. Getting around South Kihei is easy! You can walk to almost everything but there is also public transportation or you can Uber to almost anywhere in South Kihei or Wailea. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: - SLEEPER SOFA: The sleeper sofa is only suitable for children and small adults. It is not made for large adults. - CONSTRUCTION: We are offering a significant discount off our normal rate ($497 a night) due to ongoing construction at the Maui Coast Hotel next door. Construction is during daytime hours only and most of the major work has been completed. No construction is being done on our building and our condo does NOT face the construction at all - it is on the opposite side of the building but you may hear some noise from the construction site. - PRIVATELY OWNED CONDO: Please be aware that you are renting a privately owned condo in a laid-back complex in a casual beach town. The condo is older and many of our guests are families with small children so there may be signs of wear and tear - everything is not perfect! The unit is always professionally cleaned and we repair or replace any broken items as soon as we are notified, but if you are looking for a brand new luxury condo - this is not it! - NOT A HOTEL: This is not a luxury hotel or resort!!! Please don't expect the same amenities as a hotel or resort. We do not provide hotel-type services such as laundry and housekeeping during guest stays so bed and bath linens and consumables are NOT replenished during your stay. If you come with an island attitude you will love it, if you are expecting resort-type amenities this is not the place for you. - SUPPLIES: A starter kit of supplies is provided for you including shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, etc. as a courtesy but you are responsible for any additional items. - TV's: We have cable boxes on all 3 TV's and one Firestick for streaming.
