If you do not like noise during the stay you should not stay in this area. We recently renovated our unit. The kitchen has African Mahogany cabinets. All appliances are brand new. The walk in shower has standard shower head or body spray. There is a convenient outdoor shower to wash off when you return from the beach. Great sunset views from Lanai to enjoy a drink after a day on the beach. we have an upgraded channel package and high speed WiFi. There is beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear. OUR UNIT DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. There is ceiling fans and floor fans and an ocean breeze for cooling. There is shared washer and dryer on the property it is now app operated so no need for coins. I am available by text, email or phone. Magic Sands Beach is one of the nicer beaches in Kona area. Swimming is best in the morning as it is least crowded and you will usually have some turtle visitors. Magic Sands beach can get waves which make swimming very dangerous. When it is calm it is great for swimming. There is a lifeguard posted at this beach so don't be afraid to ask them about current or future conditions. Also conditions can change rapidly. Large surf will usually remove sand from the beach exposing rocks. It is about 3 mile ride into the restaurant and shopping of Kona Town. There is a shuttle or a bike rental rack if you don't want to drive. Also about a mile south is a shopping center with a KTA grocery store, a Longs drug store and restaurants if you don't feel like going into town. We provide beach and snorkel gear as an additional perk for our guests. However, we do not guarantee the condition of these items as we have no control over how they are used. If a guest does not report an item missing or broken we have no way to know to repair or replace it. We do our best but do not guarantee this equipment.
