Our place is one of the few 3BR spaces in fun downtown Kailua-Kona. You will be hard-pressed to find another place in Kona with as much space in a location as convenient. We live in Kona and are available as needed to make sure your stay is comfortable. ●Our neighborhood is Historic Kailua Village in downtown Kailua-Kona. If you want to be in a central and convenient location, we think our spot is as good as it gets for Kona. Our condo is one block up from oceanfront Ali'i Drive and is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, ocean activities, grocery, pharmacy, banks, historical sites and Kailua Pier. ●Several Kona food favorites are nearby, including: Kona Brewing Co., One Aloha Shave Ice, Kona Coffee & Tea Co., 808 Grindz, Umeke's. ●A wide variety of ocean activities are available nearby. The swimming/snorkeling in Kailua Bay along the Ironman swim course is outstanding. There is a sandy beach area (Kamakahonu Beach) nearby with water that is usually calm and protected from waves. Paddle board and kayak rentals are available from the beach. From the Pier, you can embark on scuba trips, parasailing, submarine rides, jet skiing, snorkeling trips, dinner cruises, whale watching and sport fishing. ●Three important historical sites are nearby: Hulihe'e Palace, Ahu'ena Heiau, Mokuaikaua Church. ●Our condo is only 9 miles to Kona International Airport. ●The Kona Trolley goes up and down Ali'i Drive for several miles. ●Kona Bikeshare is available at nearby Hale Halawai. ●If you rent a car, we are in a good location to explore the Kona coast as a whole. We have easy access to highways that lead to some fun places in south Kona and the island’s best beaches to the north. ●Each of the three bedrooms has a queen bed and we also have a queen air mattress as a fourth bed. If it is needed, there is plenty of space to set up the air mattress in the lower level living room. ●TVs are streaming only. Bring your passwords for access to streaming providers, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO, etc. ●We have a mini-split AC, two window ACs, ceiling fans, and standing fans to help keep our space comfortable. Like most homes in Hawaii, the AC is not central AC. The loft can get warm at times. The hottest months in Hawaii are June-October.
