Imagine: • Swaying palms • Foliage in a 1,000 shades of green • Vibrantly colored flowers blooming everywhere • Balmy breezes • Azure seas • Waves breaking on your own warm sands Kaha Lani means “Heavenly Place,” and that certainly is true! Located on the famous Royal Coconut Coast of Kauai, Kaha Lani is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Lydgate Park, and the Wailua Municipal Golf Course. This must be Paradise! But Wait! There’s More! If you’re like most people, “Reviews” are one of the most important things to check before renting a vacation home. We sure do! Reviews are earned. They’re a gauge of customer satisfaction—not just with the accommodations, but also with the customer service they received from the owners and their agents. We’ve only been the owners of Kaha Lani 211 since 2015. From Day 1, we’ve been working hard to earn great reviews, and we now have dozens! Read through them first. Then book your vacation with us. We're confident you'll agree that Kaha Lani 211 truly is a place in heaven! The Kaha Lani is a small, quiet complex just 5 miles from the Lihue Airport, and less than 2.5 miles from Kapaa. Staying at the Kaha Lani will put you within easy driving distance of everything on our beautiful island. The Kaha Lani is off the highway, surrounded by Lydgate Park. Make sure to take advantage of the amenities at Lydgate. There’s a protected swimming and snorkeling lagoon, a lifeguard on duty, and picnic areas. The Ke Ala Hele Makalae (“Path That Goes By the Coast”), which extends for miles in both directions, is the only thing separating the Kaha Lani from the beach in front of the complex. This beach is great for sunbathing or watching for whales, but the ocean is not good for swimming here. Follow the path a short distance to Lydgate if you would like to swim in the ocean. Our condo is a second-floor end unit. The ocean side of the condo is almost all windows, with a sliding glass door to a large lanai. From there, take advantage of the beautiful views, ocean breezes, and comfortable furniture (You'll love our teak recliners!) as you relax with a cold beverage, or a scrumptious meal. Inside, relax on the sofa. Use the free wireless to surf the Internet. Watch the new flat screen television, or pop in a DVD. Play a CD, or use the Ipod dock to listen to your own playlist. Or just kick back and read one of the paperback books in one of the drawers of the cabinet in the dining room. The bedroom has its own bathroom with a massaging showerhead over the tub. The half bath is just steps from the living room. They both have Silestone counters and new fixtures. The bedroom contains a queen-sized bed with a memory foam topper and soft-as-silk bamboo sheets. The living room has a queen-sized sofa sleeper with a memory foam mattress. While you have a great view of the ocean from the lanai, you are only steps away from the beach. In the winter, take the beach chairs down to watch the whales breaching, or just watch them from the lanai. And any time of the year, watch beautiful sunrises from either location! The kitchen has cherry cabinets and granite countertops. We bought all new stainless steel appliances, and have stocked the kitchen with all the things we have found our guests might need. All the cooking utensils, dishes, and small appliances are already there. Brew your morning coffee with a drip coffee maker, or use the Keurig. We provide some starter K-cups, or bring your favorite flavors from home. Fix some of your meals in our fully stocked kitchen, and enjoy them inside in the dining area, or take them out on the lanai. There are also barbecues located nearby in the pool area that you can use. We always hated checking multiple bags at the airport, just to make sure we had everything we thought we might need to have a fulfilling vacation. It's much more relaxing to just bring a carryon bag with a few shirts, shorts, and swimwear. The complex laundry room is nearby, and we provide the detergent. The washers and dryers accept debit or credit cards. We'll save you a ton of money on renting stuff. We have boogie boards, a collapsing ice chest, snorkel gear, tennis gear, beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and much more. If you don't see everything you'll need on our amenities list, let us know. Maybe we'll add it before your arrival! The Kaha Lani is right next to the Wailua Golf Course, recognized as one of the best municipal courses in the nation! There are also several other fine courses on the island. If you're a serious golfer, your own clubs probably help you play better. If you don't want to bring your own clubs, we have two sets available for you to use. They aren't state-of-the-art clubs, but they're not bad. With my 25+ handicap, I could probably score as well with a stick and a rock! That’s why I always say, “Good weather, good company, and occasionally, a chance to putt for par in paradise! What more can you ask for?” If you need someone to be your guide on one of the courses, give me a call. I’m on the island more than half the year. If I'm on island, I can join you for a round to point out the hidden hazards--because I’ve been in all of them! Just don’t expect any advice on your golf game. And if I offer advice, don’t take it! This may be the vacation of a lifetime for you, or just another trip to paradise. In our many visits before achieving our goal of owning a piece of Kauai, we've learned how to squeeze the most out of a nickel. The best part of coming to Kauai is enjoying God's creation. You can spend a lot to enjoy it once, or we can give you some tips on stretching your budget so you can come back more often. Let us know which type of trip you want, and we'll help you achieve it! We’ve packed a ton of tips in our Condo Book. Make sure to check it out. State of Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax Certificate of Registration is on display in the unit. See the rental agreement for our cancellation policy.
