The space The Casa de la Luna is located in the heart of Albaicín, a historic neighborhood of medieval origin. It is a "Moorish" house built in the 16th century and renovated respecting and preserving its original structure and elements: decorated plasterwork, carved wood, cobbled patio-garden. The house is listed and protected due to the uniqueness of its architectural typology. There are few Moorish houses that are preserved today. The house is organized on two floors around a courtyard-garden. Downstairs is the kitchen, a large living-dining room (approx. 40 m), with a bathroom and an area to listen to music or read. Upstairs is an outdoor gallery with views and inside the rest area. The house has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom 1: one double bed (135 cm), sleeps 2. Bedroom 2: a bunk bed with two single beds (90 cm), sleeps 2. Room 3-Library: one double bed (135 cm), sleeps 2. There is also a dressing area. The house is an oasis in the Albaicín neighborhood, the patio is perfect for relaxing "the patio where the moon lives". Guest access Very close to the house you will find all kinds of services: grocery stores, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, tea shops, health center, market, leisure areas, flamenco shows, monumental areas, viewpoints, etc. The house is very well connected to the city center. There are 4 bus lines: - N8 and N9 with exit on Carretera de Murcia with Calle Pagés and stop at Plaza del Triunfo. - C31 minibuses that connect the Albaicín and downtown Granada and C32 that also reach the Alhambra. - There is also a taxi service. The closest stop to the house is in Fatima Square, 200 meters from the house. (Taxis are quite cheap in Granada). Other things to note The house has a feature that makes it very unique, the silence, on a street without traffic, you will be awakened by the birds of the gardens of the house and the adjoining houses.
