A stone's throw from Ho'okipa Beach Park, Tavares Bay, Nori’s and several other fun surf breaks, The Green Guava is a cute, comfortable place to chill-out after a your day at the beach! Walking distance to Mama's Fish House, Kuau Store and near public beach access points, you won't need to go far to find beaches, surf, windsurfing, and a nice spot to relax! The space itself is fun, breezy, casual, and relaxing. There are two Hawaiian daybeds (twin size) in the living room (new mattresses purchased Feb 2023), situated for sitting, lounging, sleeping or napping! A spacious eastern king size bed (Tuff & Needle foam mattress) is situated in the bedroom. A pub-style table that seats 4. There is also a small outside patio and table for 4 where guests can enjoy morning coffee, meals and afternoon cocktails! Keep in mind that check out is at 10:30 am as our cleaning staff need the time for cleaning. If your flight out is at night, I would recommend booking an additional night in order to give yourself the full last day at the condo. We have quarterly pest service and may not know the dates until a day or two prior to service. There is a credit-card-pay-or coin laundry on site, a short walk across the lawn. There is a charcoal/wood Bbq across the lawn as well, and there is a gate for guests use only, to access the streets oceanside of the property that lead to Mamas Fish House beach and other coastal access points. I generally give guests lots of space, but am available by text and phone. The Green Guava (in Kuau Plaza) is located walking distance to Mamas Fish House and the beach fronting the restaurant. It is located within the small, beachside neighborhood of Ku’au, within a mix of residential and vacation homes which was historically a Hawaiian fishing village turned sugar plantation village. There is one assigned parking stall for guests. There is Minimal guest parking, but not for overnight, and NO STREET PARKING. When parking, reversing into stall is prohibited. Bedroom windows face parking stalls and exhaust will enter bedrooms if cars are backed in. This condo unit has one designated parking stalls, there is no street parking. Wait until you see what the condo has in terms of basics like spices, condiments, coffee filters etc. before you go shopping. Although I do not stock these items, there is generally a miscellaneous rotating stock of many items. The condo has basic beach gear: chairs, misc. beach toys and beach towels, but I do not keep snorkeling gear at the unit. Laundry room: there is a stand alone laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers. They are operated via an app that you need to download on your phone. The minimum you are required to “ load” to the app is $10, therefore consider how many loads you will be washing. Also, the default amount on this app is $25, so be sure to adjust the amount down if you don’t need that much. The complex is designated smoke-free.
