Bowen Retreat is Lake Gaston main lake waterfront and has beautiful views of the lake, large private sandy beach and a wonderful boat house. Plenty of room to dock boats, boat lift and padded all the way. Some toys included: tubes, ski ropes, life jackets, paddle board and canoe. Buoys are around to tie the jetski's to as well. The space (ASK ABOUT SOME FILL IN DATES NOT 4 MINIMUM) The Bowen Retreat is definitely one of a kind lake home with lots of amenities and unique extras. Located on the main Lake and a large sandy beach with outstanding views . Linens included. No pets please. Let’s start by taking a little written tour. Ready, Let’s start! The front of the house is beautiful with a paved driveway with plenty of parking spots for cars and boat trailers. There is also a unique covered carport. Now let’s go inside. When you enter the house, after a charming foyer space, there is a beautiful living area. The area has a stone fireplace with a very large flat screen TV over top. Keep looking and you will see some breathtaking lake views. Step outside to a spacious deck with comfortable outdoor sofas and chairs. You are overlooking the sandy beach, fire pit area and boat dock with upper sun deck. All for you to enjoy. Come back in and off to the left is a beautiful spacious Master Suite with a King bed, large flat screen TV, workspace desk, large fan and doors to the deck to enjoy the lake view. The attached master bath has a tub and a “doorless” double shower heads and double sinks. This room has spectacular lake views! To the right, you’re heading to the dining and kitchen area. Before you get there, there is convenient ½ bath and washer/dryer closet. There is a little sitting area and amazing wet bar. The wet bar has an icemaker and drink cooler. Now to the Dining Room, which feature a beautiful 8-person dining table. The Kitchen is everything you need and more! Remember the Dining table and Kitchen are all looking over the Lake. You are greeted to the kitchen to a large center counter with sink, dishwasher and 8 stools. There is a large 4 gas burner stove top with built in griddle. Oven on bottom right and microwave on left. Continue walking and you will see a built-in coffee, expresso and Cappuccino machine. Below that is a steamer oven. Turning left, you will see another microwave and a very large kitchen refrigerator surrounded with lots of cabinet space. Take a step out of that back door that leads to the covered carport area and parking. There is also a nice fire pit area to enjoy. While you were in the kitchen, I’m sure you noticed that interesting spiral staircase! Walk up those and you will see a very cozy queen bedroom. Make sure to look out that little window for your lake view. Head back downstairs and across the living area, there is an interesting looking built in bookcase. Why don’t we see if that opens? Yes, it does! It’s a stairway leading to a large, private king bedroom. There is a little workspace area and a nice cozy sitting area. Remember to check that little window to see the lake view! Okay, it looks like its time to check out the downstairs. You are in for a treat! The steps lead into a very welcoming den area with a BIG flat screen TV. A comfortable sofa, chair and a couple bar tables, all looking out to amazing lake views. There is also a full-size bathroom! Adding to the scene, is a spectacular wet Bar. Complete with a sink, beverage cooler, icemaker and mini fridge. Now step outside to a lower deck to really enjoy the lake. There are a couple sofa swings and sitting areas for you to sit and relax. You can walk down the patch to a sandy beach area, firepit area and boat dock with sundeck. The fire pit area is very impressive. There you find the Traeger grill and outdoor dining table and chairs. Then follow the path to the sandy beach. Ahh, enjoy that easy walk into the lake to swim! Head on left to the boat dock and sundeck. Hop on your boat or Jet ski for other ways to enjoy the lake. Let’s go back inside, we have more to see! Heading to your right, you will see a 6 full size bed bunkroom. Don’t miss that large flatscreen TV on the wall. At the end of the bedroom, there is a full bath with 2 sinks. Time to go check out the left side, there are 2 bedrooms adjoined together by a full bathroom. As you head that way, take a peek into one of those closets and you will see a stacking washer/dryer set. They are both queen bedrooms, with walk-out doors to the deck and lake views! Guest access all access Other things to note Towels and Linens included no pets (ASK) Sleeps 16 (over 16 $100 per person) Check out Instructions Check out is at 10:00am sharp. No exceptions with new cleaning regulations needed for COVID19. Late check out fee is $200.00 and $400.00 after 12pm. Bedding - Strip linings off all beds to include fitted sheets, flat sheets and pillow cases. Leave all quilts and down comforters nicely folded as you found them. If time allows before leaving, please feel free to throw some sheets in the washer and we will take it from there. Bath Towels etc. – Please have all bath towels washed and put back in each bathroom as you found them. Each bathroom is color coordinated. Dishes – All dishes are to be cleaned. (dishwasher may be started and left) Refrigerator, Freezer & Cabinets– Should be emptied of all contents or as it was left prior to your stay. Trash – Remove trash from Kitchen, Baths, Patios, Boat Dock and beach put in large trash bins. Trash Bins must be at end of 1st Driveway entrance by Sunday night for early pick up Monday morning. Outdoor Cleanup – All outdoor furniture, lawn chairs, tubes, toys etc are to be put away properly and at the location in which you found them. Grills – Make sure grill is cleaned and covered. Griddle must be cleaned and coated with oil and placed back under carport. Dual Fryer to be wiped down and covered. Closing up House – Please make sure all doors are locked. On rear doors lift up handle and turn lock. Please put HVAC units on 72 degrees. Extra charges will apply if necessary – Please help make this ready for the next guest.
