The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm. The space There is a spacious open plan living area, one bedroom with adjoining bathroom and separate toilet with underfloor heating throughout the property. Kitchen: All the requirements for cooking including an induction hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, Nespresso vertuo coffee machine, toaster and microwave. Some essentials are provided - tea bags, condiments, cooking oil, milk, and a welcome arrival snack. There is a four seater table with chairs. Lounge: Sofa and two armchairs, a 42-inch Smart TV with access to all major streaming services, a DVD player and a Sonos music system, full fibre Wi-Fi with average speed of 45 megabytes per second, a wood burner with unlimited supply of well seasoned logs plus the surprise - my grandmother's well-tuned piano! Bi-fold doors open out onto a terrace where is a table 4 chairs and a barbecue with all utensils. Bedroom: Super king size bed with super soft sheets made from eucalyptus fibres, wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Bathroom: A walk in Aqualisa smart shower, large bath and wash basin; plenty of towels. Utility: Separate toilet and utility room with a washing machine and first aid kit. Ample off-road parking in a private area with an EV charger available. Storage space for bicycles if required. Guest access The Strawberry Box is part of a small working fruit growing farm with areas set aside for conservation and habitat improvement. Guests are welcome to explore the farm to see how it is managed, relax in the wildflower meadow or sit by the pond and watch the ducks. Other things to note The entire property is on one level with no steps from the parking area throughout all the rooms. There is one step to the terrace.
