There is wine tasting everywhere and great unique restarants and bars. The beach is 10 mins away for surfing, swimming, paddle boarding, boating or just relaxing. Horse back riding, hiking and mountain biking. The freeway is also 7 mins away if visiting other areas of LA. Great shopping! Since we are located in the Malibu Wine Trail it would be a good idea to visit some of the vineyards and sample their wines i.e. WINE TASTING!! 1. Malibu Wines is across the street however you should go to their wine tasting bar located at 31740 Mullholland HWY approx 2 mins drive from the house, easily walkable. They also have the Malibu wines Safari call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). 3. Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyard located at 340 Kanan RD Malibu approx 2 mins drive from the house. 4. Rosenthal Estate Wines which is also about 3 minutes from the house, however their wine tasting bar is located at 18741 PCH Malibu with nice ocean views!! 5. Colcanyon Estate Wines located at 2371 Latigo Canyon Malibu. Other wine tasting bars in the area are... Kristy's Malibu 6506 Westward beach rd Cornell Winery and Tasting Room located at 29975 Mullholland Highway approx 3 minutes from the house. The Old Place next door to Cornell which is a fabulous place to eat as well also 3 mins Malibu Family Wines located at 28001 Dorothy Dr Agoura Hills. THE BEACH for all you sun and sand lovers is approx 10 mins from the house depending on traffic. There you can boat, sail, jet ski, surf, paddle board, canoe, swim, body surf, wind surf, kite surf and more........You can also have lessons if you wish. HORSEBACK RIDING!! Since you'll be in horse country a great way to see the mountains is on horse back. There are some great camps in the area for children as well. There is a great state of the art gym across the street at Calamigos Ranch for the 'BIGGEST LOOSER' series if you like to work out as well as private yoga lessons at the home can be arranged. Hiking is BIG around here and there are many trails to choose from as well a mountain biking! You will need a car to get to the beach or the town of Malibu. However the Malibu Cafe is across the street and wine tasting at Malibu wines which is walkable. Lots of hiking and mountain biking in the general area. We have plenty of parking on site , you can walk to the the local restaurant and bar as well as Wine Tasting and hiking. There is no public transportation in the area. Leslie is a certified Yoga instructor! She teaches Vinyasa flow as well as Ashtanga and Iyengar. She is the creator and CEO of AROMAYOGA THERAPY which utilizes the use of therapeutic grade essential oils while practicing in order to achieve a deep and profound emotional, physical, mental and spiritual release. She has also trained with Elise Miller Browning a senior Iyengar teacher and founder of Yoga for scoliosis as well as back problems. She has taught a diverse group of people around the world from the Royal Family of Saudi to the girl next door! She is available to her guests for private yoga lessons by the pool. She is also available to take her guests on hikes and is available for consultations on health and fitness.
