Beautiful, quiet, fully furnished studio powered by clean energy PV solar on a scenic mountain ridge on east Oahu. Vaulted ceiling, infused with natural light, view of our outdoor waterfall/lily pond, 100+ topical plants & trees from the studio. Queen size bed, bathroom & kitchen. Our studio is a favorite for guests who are looking for a cozy, quiet and beautiful stay on the island. Our past guests include international and local vacationers, anniversary/honeymooners, remote workers and travel nurse. The studio is attached to the back of our house with separate private entrance. It is very quiet and is dedicated to our guests only. The bathroom and kitchen are for our guests' exclusive use during their stays. Cleanliness is our priority. Before our guests arrive, we thoroughly vacuum and mop the studio floor, sanitize all the kitchen appliances, utensils and high touch area, clean all the dishes, towels, bed linens, quilt set, cushions and blanket. The studio is designed to give the feeling of being surrounded by nature even when you are inside. It is a truly unique place on the island where you come to experience our relaxing Hawaiian lifestyle while enjoying a good night sleep without disturbance from urban noise. Inside the studio you will find an elegant, quiet, clean, modern and private studio with full bath and full kitchen, ultra quiet split unit air conditioner, 50" Sony 4k Ultra HD TV. Netflix and Hulu Plus are included. We have high speed WIFI connection with an Internet plan that offers up to 500 mbps download speed. There is no dead spot inside the studio. WIFI reception is also very good in our garden. Catch a view of our waterfall and flowers through the large windows and the beautiful etched glass while you enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of cocktail in the evening. Outside the studio, relax in our colorful garden filled water lilies, hibiscus, orchids, bamboo, palm and banana trees. Listen to birds flying and singing over our cascading waterfall. Gardening is our passion. We invite you to check out our pictures gallery. All outdoor pictures were taken where you have full access to and can view through the studio windows. We have 40+ varieties of hibiscus in our garden and every day, you can see 10-20 varieties blooming. 2 miles (2 stop lights) to Safeway (grocery store) and Longs (CVS drug store) 2.3 miles (3 stop lights) to Hawaii Kai Town Center (Costco, Starbucks, local restaurants) 2.5 miles (5 stop lights) to satellite city Hall 3.4 miles (5 stop lights) to Koko Marina Shopping Center (Walgreen drug store, Starbucks, local restaurants, UPS) 3.7 miles (4 stop lights) to Koko Head Crater Trailhead (for a StairMaster like workout) 4 miles to Hanauma Bay (beautiful bay famous for swimming & snorkeling) 5 miles to Sandy's beach (swimming & body surfing) 5 miles to Halona Blowhole lookout (see stream of water comes out of an underwater lava tube) 6 miles to Makapu'u lighthouse hiking trail (eastern tip of the island with spectacular view that you won't forget) 6.2 miles to Hawaii Loa Ridge hiking trail (view of Diamond Head to Koko Head crater on the south side of the island) 9.6 miles to Diamond Head Crater hike trail (hike at our 300,000 year old crater) 11 miles to Ala Moana Shopping Center (Biggest shopping mall on the island) 11.5 miles to Waikiki (popular beaches, restaurants and shops) 13 miles to Manoa Falls 17.5 miles to Honolulu International airport 20 miles to Pearl Harbor Studio, deck, zen garden, gas bbq grill and washer/ dryer. If you have any questions related to your stay, please don't hesitate to text, email or call us. It is very easy to interact with us since we are the owners and live on the property. Single family houses, very quiet, cool mountain breezes, great view of Koko crater, close to Hanauma Bay, beaches and hiking trails. Safeway supermarket, Longs(CVS) & Walgreens drugstores, Costco and local restaurants all within 3 miles. You will need a car to reach the studio which is located on a mountain ridge with no public transit nearby. The neighborhood is very quiet and local. There are lots of street parking in front of our house. Please note the entrance to the studio is about 50 feet from the street. The path has a slight incline, a gate and six gentle steps (6" high each) leading up to the studio door. We have no pets in our house. To keep the studio clean and quiet, we have a straight no pet rule on our property. We used to offer our guests access to our outdoor hot tub before 2018. However, the hot tub has reached the end of its life cycle. We have since taken the hot tub out of our studio amenity list starting 2019. Please ignore comments from our previous guests on the hot tub.
