The open plan living room, dining area and kitchen is a bright, comfortable space. it is complemented with a large lanai ( screened porch) which provides an additional area for guests to relax. The master bedroom is a private space on one side of the house with its own full bath featuring two sinks and a walk in shower. It has a queen bed. Two more bedrooms share a bath with a tub on the other side of the house. One of them boasts a King size bed and the other a queen and a twin. The Indoor laundry room has a washer and dryer for your use. The kitchen is outfitted with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. Whether you want to heat up take out or whip up a fabulous meal at home you will find the supplies you desire. Fresh island water from a private water system runs throughout the house, no catchment system here, no need to drink bottled water. Comfortable furnishings make The Art Garden feel like home. It is "out in the country" but a short 8 - 10 minute drive to the restaurants and shops in historic Pahoa town as well as a grocery, hardware, and drug stores. The spectacular rocky, ocean coastline is a nice drive or jog down the road. Centrally placed in the Puna area, it is an easy jumping off place to tour rainforests, parks, waterfalls, and beaches. Enjoy The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (about a 45 minute drive) and the black sand beach below ( another 20 minutes) where you are almost certain to see sea turtles basking in tvs sun. I am continually developing the landscape of the garden with beautiful tropical plantings. You may get lucky and find guava, avacados, tangerines, or even pineapples growing in the yard. We are located on a dead end street so only people who live there drive by. The neighboring homes are owned and occupied by full time residents. I enjoy visiting my Hawaii island home and sharing it with others. It inspires me to create art and hope it does the same for you. Although there is a "Hele On" free bus, a car is a must for a visit to Pahoa. Cleaning: Our housekeeping staff throughly cleans the house between guests.
