Home in Ålesund

Stay with our family in Ålesund! You will have your own floor with a bathroom, bedroom with a stunning view, and a home office. We are located right next to beautiful hiking areas, both along the sea and in the mountains. You’ll also have access to the kitchen, outdoor lounge and veranda, which are shared with us. We are a family of two adults and three children (a baby, a 3 year old girl and 6 year old boy). Please note that you may hear some family life during the daytime. 😅 The space You will enjoy a private floor (3rd floor) with your own bedroom, bathroom, and office. The kitchen, main entrance, and outdoor areas are shared with us, the hosts. These include an outdoor lounge where you can relax, play games, enjoy the view, or watch TV (with Chromecast). While we always respect your privacy, you may occasionally meet us during your stay, as the staircase passes through the living room. If you need any recommendations for hikes, local sights, or activities, I’ll be more than happy to help you make the most of your stay. I’ll share my phone number, but you can also reach me easily through the Airbnb app. Other things to note Hike to Sukkertoppen ("Sugar Top") A short walk from the house, Sukkertoppen (314 m) offers an easy 1–1.5 hour hike with breathtaking views of Ålesund, the fjords, and the sea. Walk along Tueneset & Hessabana Explore scenic coastal paths with WWII bunkers, beaches, and picnic spots. The trails connect to both Sukkertoppen and the Atlantic Sea-Park. Seaside relaxation & swimming Enjoy swimming and sunbathing on rocky shores and pebble beaches nearby. The Bybadet water park in town offers pools, slides, and jacuzzis. Atlantic Sea-Park (Atlanterhavsparken) One of Northern Europe’s largest saltwater aquariums, featuring seals, penguins, and beautiful coastal surroundings.
