Valley View, beautifully designed barn.

A beautifully designed holiday home, set in peaceful countryside settings and only 2.4 miles from Mawgan Porth Beach. Stylish light filled, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing escape-ideal for unwinding and exploring the local area. Downstairs there are two spacious king bedrooms. One bedroom can be arranged as either a king bed or two singles, offering flexibility for families or friends. The space Valley View is a purpose built holiday home which was completed in 2026. The barn houses two completely separate holiday properties, each with its own garden on either ends of the building. Valley View sits at the back of a 47 acre farm and is positioned away from the main farmhouse, with a private drive and parking. The property features a bright open-plan living space on the first floor, combining the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas to make the most of the elevated views. Step out onto the south-facing balcony and enjoy sweeping views across the valley – the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. The first floor also has a built in stair gate, cloakroom with a toilet and wash basin. Downstairs (ground floor) there are two spacious king bedrooms, one with its own en-suite bathroom. One bedroom can be arranged as either a king bed or two singles, offering flexibility for families or friends. There is an additional family bathroom. Both bedrooms have doors opening directly onto the garden, bringing the outdoors in. For comfort all year round, the ground floor benefits from underfloor heating, creating a warm and welcoming space after a day exploring the coast. A peaceful rural setting, modern comfort, and easy access to Cornwall’s stunning beaches make this the ideal base for a relaxing getaway. Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth allow dogs and have are lifeguarded from May-September. These beaches are excellent for surfing and bodyboarding activities as well as brilliant restaurants right on the water’s edge. At Watergate Bay, we would recommend visiting the Beach Hut for locally caught fish dishes or visit the hotel for a nice relaxing glass of wine cream overlooking the surf. The Scarlett Hotel at Mawgan Porth has panoramic views of the bay and has a world class spa. The famous Bedruthan Steps: a must-visit for coastal walks and seal spotting. The cafe there serves the most delicious scones with lashings of cream and sweet strawberry jam. The South-West coastal path is one of the first of its kind in the world and offers amazing walking routes along Cornwall’s dramatic coastline. From the farm, you can set off from the door in your walking boots and head towards the coast, where paths take you in either direction. Garden lovers should also visit the Royal Duchy Garden centre which has a shop selling the most beautiful home accessories. It has two cafes, one of which allows dogs and has an open log burner. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property and garden. A maximum of 1 well-behaved dog is welcome with the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms, are cleaned up after and are not left in the property unattended. *Please note* 9th - 12th August we have a local festival at Watergate Bay called Boardmasters. The traffic can be extra busy during this period in Newquay and there may be some echo noises from the live performances. The BBQ is available for use from April to October. Other things to note The holiday home is semi detached with another holiday home. The surrounding areas are open. Baby and child accessories will be provided on request these include stair gates, high chair, and changing mats. Baby sitting service is provided by my 16 year old daughter £10 per hour. Dog sitting service is provided at £30 per day, this has to be arranged prior to staying.
