You are greeted every morning by a distant ocean view on the 3rd floor as you’re looking through the tops of the Palm trees with the gentle Hawaiian breeze on the Lanai while sipping your morning cup of Kona coffee. You are literally up with all the tropical birds in the tops of the Palm and Plumeria trees so if feels like your in a tree house. To us it feels like heaven on earth! (The AC is coldest in the living room. The ceiling fans in the living room and the bedroom help circulate the cool air). You are Across the street from a local STARBUCKS. A Shell station is right next door. Local shaved ice is 2 blocks south and it’s out of this world. The condo is on Kuakini hwy. This is the road that Ironman participants run on during their annual Marathon! It's Amazing! Either rent a Car, ride a bike, walking is a good option because nothing is very far from the centrally located condo. There’s also a local bus that you can get on and it takes you around town. It travels down all down Alii drive and picks up passengers on various street corners. There is also an inner island bus and it will take passengers all the way to the other side of the Island to the Hilo side. It’s a 2ish hour bus ride from Kona to Hilo and a beautiful drive! The Pool key and garbage key are the same key, it is hanging in the hall utility closet. Pool hours are 8am to 10pm. Bonus is it is a saline water pool. The pool and barbecue area is our favorite! it’s a tropical setting and the pool is surrounded by a lush garden of various plants and trees. Look for the honu (green sea turtle) carved and hidden beautifully in the tiles near the pool, notice he is headed out to Sea. Hawaiian legend is the honu always swims towards his home ~ the sea.
