The area is known for having a bustling boating life in the summer, where you can, for example, experience an idyllic boat trip through the narrow straits in the immediate area. Great for hiking along the sea or in the mountains, use the marked hiking trails in the area. Korssund has long been a trading place for shipping to Bergen.
