Please do not leave food out or exposed on the counter at any time and clean up any crumbs to prevent ants and other tropical pests from visiting during your stay. The cleaning crew charges $25 + State of Hawaii Tax for the handling of any trash left in the condo at check-out. Thank you for your cooperation. Welcome to the lush and tropical Kona Islander Inn! Your check-in experience will be a breeze and is as easy as a hotel stay. Upon entering the lobby, a long reception desk on the left had side of the lobby awaits your registration. The front desk is staffed from 8am to 11pm. Provided it is not after 11pm, a receptionist should be there to provide you with a versatile card key to access your condo, pool, hot tub, BBQ grills and convenient on-site laundry facilities. You will also be provided with a parking pass for the duration of your stay. If a receptionist is unavailable at the front desk, simply pick up the black courtesy phone on the left side of the reception desk and it will connect you with one of the Kona Inn on-site personnel for assistance with your registration. However, if you’re checking in after midnight, please let me know in advance as there will be no receptionist on duty and you will need to access the condo using the self-check in key fob attached to the front door of the condo. The code is found in the Airbnb check in instructions. You will then need to register with the front desk the next morning to obtain your parking pass and card key to access the room, pool, BBQ, hot tub and on-site laundry facilities. Important Parking Information: Free parking is by permit only and the limited number of spaces available operate on a first come first serve basis. Register your vehicle and obtain your parking pass when you register at the front desk. Please be mindful that this is downtown Kona and parking fills up fast after 3-4pm.
