Our house is 3 blocks away from Main Street: Art and culture venues, parks and community transportation are within 10 min walking. Whitehorse International airport is 10 kilometres away. The apartment is set for a couple, for solo adventurer and/ or business traveller. We are located on a cul-de-sac adjacent to a green belt and a small City Park. Visitors can walk along a path to the Yukon River within one kilometer. From that point, visitors make a loop on the Millennium trail. Private entrance: Our apartment is warm during winter months and cool during summer. It is calm and quiet environment although we live upstairs. High quality queen size bed adds to your comfort as does the cozy living room; it is easy to feel at home. Our WiFi connection is top ranked for all your needs. Travellers have access to the full apartment. The entry is lit and the stairs are minimal with a solid hand rail. A cozy private yard with grass and concrete patio, a BBQ and a small garden during summer months. We chose not to allow pets in the apartment. We will be happy to have a conversation with you and find out about your needs or expectations while in the Yukon. We have lived in the north for more than 30 years. We are located on a cul-de-sac so there is minimal traffic in the evenings and weekends. There is a City park at the end of the street and trails that lead up the escarpment. There is a butcher shop at the end of the block and a German Delicatessen 3 blocks away. Whitehorse Public transportations is available and inexpensive : There is a bus stop located few blocks from our house. The apartment is only a few blocks away from Main street and shopping, Federal Governement offices and four blocks away from the Yukon Governement offices. The nearest bus stop will take you to the Canada Games Centre - sports multiplex , cross country ski trails and to other sport venues.
