The lovely interiors and stunning views make this a fantastic destination holiday cottage. The actual cottage is half of the building; the right half and is accessed by a door on the side wall. Downstairs are two sitting rooms and a kitchen. The larger of the sitting rooms benefits from a huge, stone inglenook fireplace with log burner. Two minimal, but beautifully upholstered sofas accompanied by handmade bespoke wooden furniture make this room simple with the colours used bringing warmth. The smaller sitting room, again has a log burner and TV, but is more of a room to retreat to if you want a bit of down time. The slate floors in the kitchen are a lovely touch which work really well alongside the white units with oak tops. All new and modern appliances, including a double range oven are here. The large sash window looks out onto the grounds and brings a lot of light to the room. The dining table in here seats six. The kitchen has a great feel to it and is certainly going to be a place to congregate. Upstairs there are two doubles and a twin. One of the doubles has an ensuite while the other two rooms share a family bathroom. The stairs leading up are beautifully restored floorboards which carry on through to the upstairs hallway. All the rooms are a good size with beautiful soft furnishings and furniture. The family bathroom located up here has a large walk in shower, tiled throughout with modern fittings and colour scheme is very in-keeping with the rest of the house.
