If you’ve been craving quiet, this is your place. Tucked into the woods on our family farm, this cozy cabin is where you come to slow down and breathe deep. At the end of a quiet road, this private cabin overlooks a small pond, surrounded by woods and mountains. Birds sing, mornings are still, and hiking trails are nearby. We built this cabin as a place to escape, unwind, and recharge. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel at peace. Perfect for rest, connection, and a little romance. The space The cabin features a one-bedroom, open living space with a loft, thoughtfully designed to feel warm, comfortable, and inviting. The main sleeping area includes a full-size bed, while the loft offers two twin air mattresses, perfect for kids or additional guests. The main room is centered around a wood-burning stove for ambiance, creating a cozy atmosphere on cooler evenings. A mini-split unit provides reliable heating and air conditioning year-round, ensuring your comfort in every season. The kitchen is small but well equipped, with nearly everything you’ll need for your stay: pots and pans, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs, salt and pepper, scissors, a can opener, microwave, and a coffee maker stocked with K-cups. The bathroom features a large stand-up shower, a handmade vanity, a flushing toilet, and—of course—hot and cold water. Outside, enjoy a large front porch with two rocking chairs, perfect for morning coffee or evening rest, along with a smaller side porch off the bathroom. There’s also an outdoor picnic table and fire ring for meals and fires under the stars. The cabin sits beside a small pond with a dock, home to friendly fish who are happy to greet you if you toss them a little bread. The property is private and secluded, bordered by thousands of acres of wilderness. Several trails begin right near the cabin—one leads to a large rock outcropping overlooking a small community, while another winds through the woods to fascinating caves formed by giant boulders. This is a place to slow down, explore gently, and truly unplug. Guest access You’ll have the entire cabin and surrounding outdoor areas completely to yourself, ensuring a private and peaceful stay. Other things to note Farmer Sprout grows fresh, organic produce, microgreens, and homemade sourdough bread on the farm. Guests staying over the weekend are welcome to visit the farm stand on Saturdays, a simple and sweet way to enjoy what’s fresh while connecting with the farm.
