Brush Creek Cottage is your NC Blue Ridge mountain escape to relax, reset, and enjoy all the offerings of the area with family and friends. Minutes from the idyllic mountain town of Sparta, the incredible Blue Ridge Parkway, Stone Mountain State Park, Olde Beau Resort & Golf Club, historic New River, multiple vineyards, fishing streams, & hiking trails! Come to take it all in or just unwind and refresh. The space Arriving at Brush Creek Cottage you’ll notice the cozy feel with all the well appointed modern conveniences. Natural light and views of the of the adjoining family owned farm create a terrific setting. Offering over two acres of property to enjoy. Sit a while under the shade of the massive oak in the front and feel the mountain breeze. Stroll down to the spring fed mountain babbling stream to unwind and watch as it passes by the mountain rhododendron. Enjoy families of deer, turkey, and other wildlife as they roam along the stream. LIVING • LG Smart TV. If you wish to stream, bring your passwords to log in and enjoy your accounts! • Games, books and playing cards. Bluetooth Speaker for enjoying your music • Electric fireplace for added ambience and those chilly evenings while lounging, plenty of throws for impromptu naps. KITCHEN & DINING ROOM • Completely stocked kitchen ready to prepare any meal or quick bites. • Keurig K Mini, Drip coffee maker, and tea kettle available with limited K Cups and tea bags provided. • Stocked with oils and spices. • Dining Area and serving pieces for casual meals or a full evening dinner around the table or al fresco on the patio. • Cleaning supplies provided under the sink. BATH • 2 Full Baths with plenty of towels, shampoo, body wash, and lotions provided. PLEASE BE GENTLE TO THE SEPTIC SYSTEM In the bathroom, only flush toilet paper. Kindly dispose of all other products in the trash, even the feminine "flushable” ones. In the kitchen, there is no garbage disposal. Please put food scraps in the trash can. OFFICE • A quiet separate tucked away space with a desk to catch up on any calls or do a little remote work to allow you to vacation a little longer. • Brush Cottage has a high-speed network so you can always be connected. BEDROOMS • Offering 1 King, 1 Queen, & 2 Twin Beds all awaiting and fitted for a restful sleep. Samsung Smart TV in Primary, Roku TV in second for streaming. (Don’t forget your passwords for streaming services). Bluetooth speakers in each of the sleeping quarters. LAUNDRY • A full-size washer and dryer in laundry area as well as iron & ironing board. Limited detergent pods are provided. OUTDOORS • The Outdoor patio welcomes you for enjoying meals or morning coffee while enjoying the great outdoors in the mountains. • Double rockers and wide front porch for relaxing. • A propane grill available for all of your grilling needs! • Outdoor chairs down by the creek & under the large oak shade tree GUEST VERIFICATION: If a guest has no reviews yet, we require Airbnb verifications of government ID, photo, phone, email, and to be at least 25 years of age. Additional verification may be required by host. ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Any guests other than those noted on the reservation must be verified and approved by the host. Guest access Guests self-check in with an electronic lock providing access into the cottage. Other things to note Other things to note Brush Creek Cottage is a quiet rural setting. Since you are located in a primary home neighborhood, please be respectful when outdoors. No loud music and please observe quiet hours from 10:00pm to 7:00am. The cottage is a smoke free space and we ask this be respected.
