Other things to note Climate Control Information When we decide to make our sites climate controlled, its main focus was to provide comfort when our guests were sleeping. During the hot summer months, the majority of our guest tends to head out to sightseeing during the daytime when temps are at their peak. Unfortunately, when we are dealing with a structure that has little to no insulation, high humidity, and temperatures nearing triple digits, it is next to impossible to regulate these places like a house. We do ask that you turn the AC/Heat off during the day when you are gone. Aside from wasting electricity, the chance of the unit freezing up increases when it runs nonstop. If you leave the screens zipped up and the doors/windows partially unzipped, that is all you usually need to get a breeze coming through (yet keeping the bugs out). Then when you get back and ready to head in for the night you can zip it back up, turn on the unit, and it will usually cool down fairly quickly. We thank you for understanding that when battling physics and Mother Nature, we can only do so much!
