Oh yeah, there is a pool, AC and hot water too ;-) The space Casa Matilda is a beautiful vacation home located above Playa Maderas; one of the premier surf spots in Nicaragua. Every aspect of this home has been designed with the purpose of using light, shadow and structure to create a unique living experience that flows seamlessly from inside to out. Here are some of the things we think you are going to like: California King sized beds in the master and second bedrooms. Amazing view of iconic Maderas Rock from the patio and pool area. Outdoor bathtub located on a private patio off the master bedroom. Private yoga deck overlooking Maderas Valley. Floor to ceiling windows in the living area providing views through the trees to the ocean in front of the house and the valley behind. Infinity edge swimming pool with shallow area for kids or lounging with a drink as the sun goes down. Finally, the house is located within close proximity to the Maderas Valley area which includes restaurants, bars and some of the most consistent waves in Nicaragua. Guest access You're probably going to want a vehicle and we highly recommend that vehicle has 4x4 capabilities. Guests need to be aware that the house is located at the top of some pretty steep hills. This provides some for amazing views but it also makes walking home after a day at the beach a less than enjoyable experience. Vehicles without 4x4 may have difficulty making it up the hills especially when it has been raining. The really steep sections are paved but it can still be difficult without 4x4.
