The Majestic Lodge is more than just a big house on Airbnb. Yes, we do have 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms, and yes, we do have the capacity to sleep up to 32 people which is more than any other vacation rental in the area, but what is so great about The Majestic Lodge is that we create 5-Star resort experiences in the comfortable home setting where everyone can be together under one roof. This makes The Majestic Lodge the top choice for large groups, retreats, family get-togethers, anniversary parties, or multi-family Vacations. And speaking of vacations, people go on vacations to have fun and relax, not to stress out over planning a vacation, especially trying to plan vacations for large groups. So let us help you out. VACATION PACKAGES As a private resort, we can offer several vacation packages to help our guests relax and enjoy their time in Costa Rica. BREAKFAST Each morning, our staff cook delicious breakfasts for our guests. This complementary breakfast is our way of showing love and saying thank you for choosing to stay at the Majestic Lodge. MEAL PACKAGE The food in the La Fortuna area can be expensive with breakfasts ranging between $12 and $15 a person and lunch and dinners often costing between $15 and $30 for food and drinks per person. Groups of 20 will regularly spend $240 and $300 for breakfast and between $400 and $600 for lunch or dinner. The upgraded meal package includes both lunch and dinner for your group at a cost of $30 per person (5 years old or older) per day. Guests who get the meal package usually save about 25-35% of their overall cost of food during their stay in La Fortuna. When you book or inquire about booking, let us know if you would like to add the meal package. TRASPORTATION PACKAGE After traveling for several hours, the last thing you want to do is to wait another hour in the line to a car rental place arguing with the agent why the amount your were quotes online is so much less then the amount you are being charged at the car rental place. Go ahead and skip this hassle. Let us save you time and money by greeting you at the airport and bringing you directly to your destination. However, it doesn’t need to be a direct trip, we can also stop at a delicious restaurants or pick up certain supplies from the store on the way to our Private Resort. Transportation by taxis to La Fortuna from the Liberia and San Jose Airports usually cost around $300 for a one way trip for up to 8 people, $400 for a group between 8 and 14 people, $500 for a group between 14 and 22, and $800 for a group between 22 and 30 people. We have 12-passenger and 15-passenger vans that we can rent out to our guests to drive around and explore and go to excursions. The average cost to rent a van with the fees and insurance is about $260 a day. Our guests are able to use our vehicles for $150 a day. PRESIDENTIAL PACKAGES For those who would like an all-inclusive experience in Costa Rica, we would like to offer you the presidential package. For guests who do not wish to take advantage of the packages we offer, we would like you to know that we have plenty of parking at The Majestic Lodge and we have a fully stocked kitchen, equipped with all you need to cook your own meals. There is a gorgeous outside deck outside with a BBQ where you can grill up your own masterpieces. The Swimming pool and Jacuzzi are right outside the dinning area and offer nice views of the Volcano and the surrounding rainforest. Location: We are located on the West side of Volcano Arenal, on the Southside of Lake Arenal, in a place called El Castillo which is approximately 2-and-a-half hours from the Liberia (LIR) airport and 3 hours from the San Jose (SJO) airport. We are just down the road from the boat entrance for Lake Arenal and close to a few nearby restaurants. ***BOOKING THE WHOLE PROPERTY VERSES BOOKING BY THE ROOM*** - Most of our reservation requests to book a stay at The Majestic Lodge are made months in advance by large groups of 10 or more people. When these bookings are accepted, the whole property is served for that booking group only and no other groups can book the property for the same time even if there are rooms not being used. - When the whole property has not been fully booked out by a large group and there are vacancies within the next 30 days, individual room rentals may become available. Because Airbnb lacks certain setting to make this option available on their website or app, we accommodate this option by dropping the overall price by 90% to make the property visible to smaller groups who may be interested in staying at The Majestic Lodge. The price that is quoted does not include the whole property. The rooms range between $80 and $160 per room per night plus cleaning fees and airbnb fees.
