Welcome to Fish Tales, a recently updated 3-bedroom beach house on the North End of Carolina Beach with canal views and an easy 5-minute walk to the beach. Relax indoors or out, spend your days swimming, fishing, surfing, or unwinding by the ocean, and enjoy the perfect home base for a laid-back coastal getaway. The space Fish Tales is just a short 4–5 minute walk to several beach accesses and a quick walk to the North End Pier, where you’ll find High Tide Lounge & Tiki Bar. We are also within walking distance to CB Barge, located on the waterway — a great spot for cold drinks, live music, and beautiful sunsets. Carolina Beach Yacht Club is also located at CB Barge, so guests bringing a boat may contact them directly for docking information. If you have a 4x4 vehicle, Freeman Park is just a 1-minute drive from the home, where you can drive right onto the beach and enjoy the day. Fish Tales, formerly known as Buddy’s Bungalow, was purchased in 2023 and has been thoughtfully updated with new furniture, kitchen appliances, a ping pong table, and much more. Outdoor Areas The large wraparound upper deck and front porch include a gas grill, rocking chairs, 4 sun loungers, and 2 outdoor dining tables. The front door is located on the upper deck, and a Ring doorbell is installed for security purposes. The covered lower patio features Adirondack chairs, tables, cornhole boards, and a charcoal grill. Just off the lower patio, the game room includes a ping pong table, dartboard, bikes, beach chairs, coolers, an umbrella, beach toys, and boogie boards. The driveway and carport can accommodate 4–6 vehicles, a boat trailer, and there is also an area to charge a rented golf cart. Kitchen & Family Space The open-concept kitchen and living area make it easy to gather, cook, and relax. The updated, fully stocked kitchen features quartz countertops, all-new appliances, double ovens with an air fryer in the lower oven, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, mixer, plenty of glassware, pots, pans, and everything needed to cook a full meal. The dining table seats 6, and the island seats 4. The family room features a large sectional and a 65-inch Roku TV. Guests should bring their own streaming logins. For rainy days, we provide games, books, and puzzles for all ages, plus the downstairs ping pong table. Bedrooms & Bathrooms Primary Bedroom: King bed with new memory foam mattress, 55-inch Roku TV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Bedroom 2: Queen bed, 55-inch Roku TV, and walk-in closet. Bedroom 3: Two twin beds with new memory foam mattresses, 43-inch Roku TV, and walk-in closet. Bathroom 2: Shower/tub combo. Laundry Room: Washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board. Provided During Your Stay To help you feel at home, we provide: Indoor essentials: Paper towels, toilet paper for each bathroom, body soap, garbage bags, dish soap, coffee pods, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, and hand soap. Linens: Sheets for all beds, one towel and washcloth per guest, hand towels for bathrooms, and kitchen towels. Beach & outdoor items: Beach towels, 2 beach carts, beach chairs, boogie boards, an umbrella, several coolers, sand toys, and 5 bikes, including 2 fat-tire beach bikes that can be ridden on the beach. Guest access You have access to all parts of the home except for the owners closet Other things to note There is a Ring doorbell at the front door.
