Located less than 10 minutes from Lake District National Park. Easy driving distance to Keswick, Cockermouth and Solway Coast (Hadrian’s wall). The pod is perfect for walkers and cyclists who wish to explore the local footpaths and country lanes. Local town is less than a 5 minute drive away! Our peaceful glamping pod near Wigton, Cumbria is ideally located for the Tour de France UK stages in July 2027, with Carlisle and the Lake District stages within easy reach. The space My glamping pod is situated in a peaceful environment in a rural location. Uniquely the pod has a double day bed for 2 adults and an “upstairs” area with 2 single beds allowing space for children or friends via a small ladder. It is equipped with a bathroom with a shower and toilet facilities. The Kitchen has a microwave, air fryer, kettle, toaster, fridge, slow cooker and numerous essentials including tea, coffee, sugar, cooking utensils and condiments (it does not have a cooker or a hob). There is a dining area with table, stools, smart tv and WiFi. The entire pod is fully heated. The pod has its own fenced area with on-site parking (perfect for securing pets). There is access to a shared utility room with a washer. Bedding and towels are provided along with essentials. Guest access Self check in and check out so no need to see me if you don’t want to, however as i live on site I am on hand if you need help! Other things to note I absolutely adore dogs therefore yours are welcome! Please note that the pod outside area is secure for dogs. I also have lots of pup essentials if you need anything, just let me know in advance.
