The space Located right outside of the Harrisonburg city limits, this Rockingham County home sits along a secondary road just minutes from downtown Harrisonburg, Eastern Mennonite University, James Madison University, Horizon's Edge Sports Campus and Interstate 81. Enjoy a tastefully updated ranch-style home that provides plenty of space to spread out, both inside and out. All essentials (kitchen, dining, living area, bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry) are on the main level with a second living area in the basement. In addition, the attached carport provides easy access to the home. Whether you've come to explore the area attractions, visit family and friends, or to just escape from the realities of life, we're ready to welcome you to Belltop! Inside: The main level features a full kitchen with reverse osmosis water system, dining space with a coffee/tea bar, living area with couches and a Smart TV and high speed internet. Down the hall you'll find a full bathroom with shower/tub, as well as the three bedrooms (details below). In the back of the home, we have a spacious mudroom with a washer and dryer, a full desk, window bench, and a basket full of assorted sports/yard activities. Downstairs, you'll enjoy a second living area with a large TV, sectional sofa, cushioned rocker, game table and bar top. Be sure to also check out all of our games, puzzles and toys! Bedroom 1: Primary suite with king bed, sitting area and built in closet and ceiling fan, along with an attached half bath. Bedroom 2: Queen bed with built in closet and ceiling fan Bedroom 3: kids' room with built-in bunk beds (twin over twin) and a reading nook *Additional sleeping options: the ottoman in the living room folds out into a single bed. There is also a mattress tucked under the bottom bunk. Extra linens are available for these upon request. **Note that all guests must be accounted for on original reservation. No additional unauthorized guests allowed. Outside: Gather around the fire pit, located on the side of the house, or sit on the back patio while enjoying the peaceful back yard. Take a short walk up the hill to the gazebo and enjoy the views of the mountains in the distance, or the pasture on the other side of the fence. Ring the bell at the top of the hill and the cows just might come for a visit (they love to be fed fruits and veggies)! The kids will enjoy the open space to run, along with the small basketball area for shooting hoops or drawing with sidewalk chalk. This home sits on over three acres (part of which is a fenced cow pasture), so you won't run short on space! Guest access Access to entire home (with the exception of unfinished utility space in basement and locked closets) and full yard (minus cow pasture). Large shop is maintained by owner and is not accessible to guests. Other things to note Since we are located in a country setting, you may occasionally come across some wildlife including (but not limited to): deer, squirrels, birds, groundhogs, rabbits, flies, bugs, snakes, spiders, and perhaps even a free range chicken, or a neighbor cat/dog walking through the yard. We do our best to keep pests at bay (bugs, spiders, etc) while allowing other animals to be in their natural habitat.
