Conveniently located in Downtown, Ithaca's must visit Commons is a 5 minute walk away, which leads you through Restaurant Row. Meticulously decorated, Park Place embodies the personal taste and style of the previous property owner, Keren. Nearly every piece of furniture and decor was hand-picked from her personal collection with the purpose of welcoming guests and providing a serene calmness for each and every stay. Park Place offers a plethora of natural light, hardwood floors and a view to compliment your morning coffee or tea. It is important to note that the office has been converted into a bedroom. Access to the 2nd bedroom requires you to walk through the 1st bedroom. Park Place is incredibly spacious and wanted to make sure that all guests are provided the comfort of a queen-size bed as opposed to a sofa bed or air mattress. The entire apartment is accessible to our guests. It boasts a full kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Calyn will be your main contact throughout your stay. Text messages are encouraged for questions requiring immediate responses, ranging from unfortunate lockouts all the way to working the coffee maker in the morning to ensure you have a hot coffee before you start your day! The apartment is located just 2 blocks from The Commons where many restaurants: Thai, American, Tapas, Italian, French, & Cafe's are within a short walking distance as well as coffee shops & a scenic walk to Cornell Campus via Cascadilla Gorge. To get to Cornell campus, you can take what is considered as one of Ithaca's starter trails. Cascadilla Gorge follows a calm and soothing stream which allows you to elevate cliff side right into Collegetown and the entrance into Cornell University. There is also a bus stop conveniently located right across the street with a bus typically arriving every 30 minutes. We offer street parking for our guests. When making a reservation for Park Place, it is my goal to provide more than just a bed to sleep on, but a place to call home during your travels. The apartment is stocked with the essentials and additional amenities which includes: Fresh linens and towels. Tea and coffee to jump-start your day. French Press and a whistling kettle. Pots, pans and cooking utensils for those that like to stay in and cook. Dinnerware and utensils. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer and hand soap.
