Welcome to our Oasis! House on the slopes of Rigi, overlooking shores of Weggis & Lake Lucerne offers unique & holiday gateway. The highlight: the garden with wow mountain & lake views and amazing sunsets. Comfortable space for 4 guests spread over two floors. All around is just forest and meadows. Enjoy the Mediterranean climate in central Switzerland with many activities: hiking, boat rides, beaches, restaurants... The space ***Please note: we used to offer hot tub so some reviews mention that but the hot tub is under maintenance this winter (2025-2026) and is not available until further notice. The night rate has been reduced by half due to this change.*** The house is located next to a forest, at the end of a private driveway and offers maximum privacy and relaxation in the nature. You can hear birds and crickets chirping, observe the lake fauna and enjoy the sounds of cows on the close by hills. The house is facing the lake and is surrounded by meadows. It is not a modern house so the interiors are of retro style with all the comfort you might need in a holiday home. A highlight of the location: amazing sunsets to admire from the garden/balcony (due to location on the slopes, above Weggis: longer evening sun hours). The guests have at their disposal two floors of the house (some private rooms remain closed on upper floor) with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, two dining areas, a kitchen and a garden. The ground floor: two bedrooms, each with a queen bed (please note one bedroom does not close with doors, there is a curtain at the entrance), one bathroom (please note that the bathroom access is through one of the bedrooms), fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dryer and washing machine, dining area in a winter garden and living room space in another winter garden. The living room area offers views of the lake and the mountains. Private balcony connects the two winter gardens. The upper floor: one bedroom with a double bed, extra dining space that can be fully open in summer (to become a balcony), huge living room with sofa, TV (no cable TV, only Apple TV that you need to log into with your credentials to use) and coffee corner with huge window overlooking Lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus. There is one extra bathroom with toilet and shower. The other rooms on this floor remain closed and are private. Outdoor space with amazing lake Lucerne views consists of: - garden with lake, forest and mountain views - terrace with relaxing area - dining area under palm trees with coal barbecue Both floors have separate entrances and are also connected by indoor stairs. A Friendly Note Before You Book: Our villa in Weggis offers a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful natural setting, right next to the forest and surrounded by meadows. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, but as with any home close to nature, you might occasionally encounter a spider or insect. This is perfectly normal for the area, but we mention it so you’re not caught off guard. The villa is not a modern luxury property, but a warm and well-equipped home with everything you need for a pleasant holiday. It has a unique room layout and a special charm that many of our guests have loved. However, if you’re expecting a sleek, contemporary design or hotel-style experience, it might not be quite what you’re looking for. We want to make sure all our guests feel comfortable and know what to expect, so if you appreciate character, nature, and a more personal touch, we think you’ll really enjoy your time here. Other things to note Please note that the outdoor access to the ground floor is only by using four flights of stairs (three down, one up). Not suitable for people with limited mobility. We offer two parking spaces to our guests. It is preferable to arrive by car as the public transport accessibility is limited. The house is located at the end of private driveway and in order to leave the house you need to be ready to drive backwards. Pets accepted upon request. Please do not open the white wardrobes in the kitchen, these are private.
