Something special for your honeymoon or anniversary? This is it! The tower is 14m high. The 3rd floor is enclosed (mostly in glass) and the floor above, full open terrace is part of the suite. And there is a fifth floor, an observation deck, on top of the roof. It’s a landmark even before the inauguration. The space This is a wonderful way to experience the tropical rain forest, at the height of 1,000 meters (3,000 feet) above the sea below. We offer full accommodation and full comfort, short of luxury; but this is mostly for the adventurous and the rugged, not for pampered city people. And worst of all, like everywhere in Costa Rica, you might experience an unexpected power blackout at any time. We do have solar-powered lights in place, but when the electricity goes out, you are left in the lurch: no Internet, and maybe no water. Other things to note This lookout tower is at its best on a sunny day, on a beautiful clear morning when you can see far out the sea, or on a bright starry night — mostly in the dry season. It might not be to your taste when the rainstorm pounds on the window-glass and finds its way through the cracks in the sealed frames. Unfortunately, for nine months of the year you might be faced with the challenges of the tropical forest clouds. Remember, this is sitting at the top of the mountain, right in the heart of the rain clouds and it is a stunning display as the clouds march up through the valleys converging at the top. You can see with your eyes how the clouds are formed right under your feet.
