This luxurious suite is situated in a newly built apartment building in St. Paul's Bay. The complex is home to six individual apartments, and this particular one can sleep up to four people, has a large bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a shared living space with a TV, as well as a spacious courtyard. And as a huge plus, there is a balcony overlooking the bay. The apartment was built by continental standards, it is soundproof and thermally insulated, so it keeps warm in winter. The apartment is newly built and was designed with a lot of thought and care to make sure it's the perfect holiday spot that leaves nothing to be desired. All the equipment and furniture were carefully selected, and it has everything to make your holiday unforgettable. The apartment is fully air conditioned and situated on the first floor of the building. Entry is into the dining area, to the right of which is a spacious bedroom with two single beds. This is the room that overlooks the bay with huge windows and direct access to the balcony. To the left of the entrance/dining area is the sizeable fully equipped kitchen, which enables you to prepare any meal you wish. As you progress through the apartment, you enter the living area with a convertible sofa and TV. You can find the large bathroom complete with a bathtub, toilet, sink and bidet opening from the passage to the second bedroom, which is equipped with a queen size bed. And finally, on this end of the apartment is a big courtyard, which, just like the balcony, is perfect for having a meal or a glass of wine at the end of the day. Unlike many other apartments this one was built by continental standards. So it is soundproof and thermally insulated, so it keeps warm even in the winter! You'll have the whole apartment to yourselves with no spaces shared with others and full access to all amenities, with the only exception of the travel cot and high chair. We have three of each in total for all six apartments, and can only provide them if they are not in use elsewhere. So please ask in advance to see what's available, and note that their weight limit is 15 kg. Xemxija is located in St. Paul’s Bay near St. Paul’s Island, where, according to the Acts of the Apostles, St. Paul was shipwrecked on his voyage from Caesarea to Rome, which laid the foundations of Christianity on the island. The area is characterised by the ports and pebbled beaches along its shore, and it’s dotted with restaurants and cafes. There are also sandy beaches nearby, and the starting point of the breathtaking Xemxija Heritage Trail, also known as the Roman Road, is just 400 meters away from the apartment. Other famous sites, such as Valletta, the ferry to Gozo, Mdina and Sliema are all accessible with direct bus routes within an hour. There is a bus stop within 200 metres of the apartment, serving routes towards Valletta, Bugibba, and the airport. The latter is one hour away by bus, and around 40 minutes by car. You can easily use the Bolt app throughout your stay as well, which is the most convenient way to get around. Tourist tax The sum you pay on Airbnb includes local tourist tax, no other charges apply. Linen and towels There is bed linen and a set of towels for each guest. There is no daily cleaning or linen/towel change. If you need extra, please bring your own, or you can request more before arrival at an additional cost (please message us for details). Consumables You will find a reasonable amount of consumables as per the list of amenities, such as kitchen basics, welcome coffee, toiletries (in dispensers), toilet paper, etc. Should any of this run out, please buy more at the supermarket like you would at home.
