The space The Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area is conveniently situated for outdoor adventure, including horseback riding, tubing, water sports, hiking; museums and theater; the Biltmore Estate and Village, shopping and restaurants, and so much more! It is the perfect location to create lifetime memories with you and your loved ones! Bedrooms: Bedroom #1 is the primary suite on the main level and has a king bed Bedroom #2-is downstairs and has a queen bed Bedroom #3-is downstairs and has 2 bunk beds (4 total twin beds) All beds are fitted with high quality sheets and Boll and Branch pillows! *The living room has a CordaRoy which converts to a queen sleeper* Bathrooms: -(1) full bathroom on the main level in the primary suite and (1) full bathroom downstairs -Bathrooms are stocked with all the essentials Kitchen: Stocked with all the essentials Screened-In Porch: - Equipped with dining table, outdoor sectional, propane fire pit, and foosball table. Grills: - We have a propane grill available for you on the front porch and a charcoal grill by the hot tub! Propane is provided. Charcoal is not. Downstairs: -Has a game room with a foosball table & boardgames! The downstairs has doors that lead you to the deck & hot tub. We supply: - Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, and basic cleaning supplies. - Washing machine detergent pods - Towels and sheets - Local coffee *(Sharewell Coffee Co in Flat Rock, NC)* and Folgers - *A popcorn bar with special toppings! * (kids and adults have so much fun with this!) - Pots, pans, etc Nature Disclaimer: - Routine pest control is performed, but sightings of mosquitoes, ladybugs, and stink bugs, and other wildlife can occur as we are in the woods. House Rules: - No Parties/Events: Unauthorized parties or events will result in an additional $500 charge, and you will be required to leave the property. Wifi Notice: Lake Lure is a fantastic destination, but sporadic storms may cause power outages and internet disruptions. The internet works well, and the power company provides restoration timeframes. While we hope this won’t impact your stay, we want to keep you informed just in case! These forests feature hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, horse trails, exquisite waterfalls, and beautiful mountaintop views. If you and/or your children are fans of The Hunger Games book and movie, a scene with Katniss and Gale was shot at the Pisgah National Forest. A few small but significant scenes were also filmed at the DuPont State Recreational Forest. POLICIES: -Pet friendly (2 pet max.) It is a $100 fee. -Smoking is prohibited inside the property Guest access You will have full, private access of the entire property and shared access to the semi- private cove (shared among the 12 home owners in the neighborhood and their guests, only) Other things to note Please note that Lake Lure is drawing back the lake from roughly November 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025 by 12 feet for routine dredging and maintenance.
