A short 1.5 block walk to the famous Ditch Plains Beach, known for the surf and laid back vibes. Half a mile from Crow's Nest restaurant and around the corner from the Ditch Witch food truck. 5 minute drive (2 miles) to downtown Montauk and a short drive to anywhere you want to be in town (8-10 minute drive to Gurney’s, Surf Lodge, Duryea’s, Montauket, etc.) OUTDOOR SPACE: The large wrap-around deck makes it perfect for entertaining with friends and family. Outdoor space features 2 dining tables, an outdoor sectional, and rocking chairs. Complete with an outdoor shower, a jacuzzi, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, grill, string lights and a privacy curtain - great for happy hour and al fresco dining after a day at the beach. We provide plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and outdoor toys to utilize as well. INDOOR SPACE: The upstairs has an open-concept kitchen with all appliances and cooking equipment you'll need. There is also a dining area and a cozy family room with a fireplace. The house is equipped with 5 bedrooms: 1 king master bedrooms (upstairs, with additional door leading to the outdoor deck), 3 queen bedrooms (1 upstairs, 2 downstairs), and a double twin bunk bedroom (4 twin beds upstairs - great for kids or friends!) The downstairs has an additional living room and a wide open play area, along with a desk making WFH totally doable. Two full bathrooms indoors (one upstairs, one downstairs) + an outdoor shower. There are three TVs in the house - one in each living room and one in the master king bedroom. All are powered by Roku and have YouTubeTV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Showtime, HBO Max and Hulu. Other features: WiFi, washer/dryer, AC/heat, unlimited water heater Oversized driveway can accommodate 7-8 cars and getting to the ocean is a breeze! Quick walk to Ditch Plains beach (surfing paradise) with plenty of parking (fits 7-8 cars) at the house. Quiet street on a dead end block in an awesome family-oriented and fun neighborhood. Down the block from Ditch Witch food truck. Around the corner from Crow’s Nest on the lake. Less than 5 min drive to downtown Montauk with plenty of restaurants, shopping and more beaches. 5 min drive to the “end” of Long Island - picturesque Montauk Lighthouse. 8 min drive to Montauk train station + Surf Lodge, Duryea’s, Montauket, etc. 10 min drive to Gurney’s Resort. Taxis are plentiful in season; available off-season as well, should just call in advance. Car is easiest way to get around to all the other beautiful sites in Montauk. Can also take the Jitney bus from NYC to downtown Montauk and a quick ride to the house from there. House Rules: 1) No smoking, please 2) Please be respectful of the neighbors and limit any excessive noise late at night 3) We generally do not allow pets.
