If you are a hiker/biker or a kayaker/canoeist, then Canada House is the place for you. Silver Islet is surrounded by Lake Superior on one side and the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park on the other. Guest access You will have full privacy as the entire camp is for your enjoyment. Other things to note The Silver Islet General Store will be open during your stay. Plan to possibly do some shopping or take a break from cooking and enjoy some of their delicious offerings for lunch. Their cinnamon rolls are legendary. Whether its to fish or to go to the Porphyry Lighthouse, it is a special experience to be on the waters of Lake Superior. Silver Islet is bordered by the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park which has many amazing hikes for all abilities. If you park at a trailhead you must pay for a day pass, however many trails can be walked to from Canada House. Do you need to stay somewhat connected?
