Easy beach access just steps away from the property will treat you to breathtaking sunsets at the Pacific ocean. The home includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms/ sleeps up to 8 people. The master bedroom has one king bed, the bedroom across the hall has two queen beds. There is also a sleeper sofa. The house sleeps up to 8 people max if two people take the sleeper sofa. Open floor plan from kitchen through living room and out to the deck creates an amazing ambiance of relaxation and tranquility. Featuring beautiful kitchen appliances should you choose to utilize the kitchen and take in the breathtaking views from the deck over a nice home cooked meal. Sleeping specifics: The 1st floor master bedroom has a single king bed with panoramic views of the harbor and bay. The second bedroom across the hall on the same floor has two queen beds. The sleeper-sofa is up two short flights of stairs with living room, kitchen and stunning patio on the same floor. two parking spots in a gated, private parking lot are provided with this property. There is also street parking. Owner lives next door and will be available (most of the time) when needed. Princeton by the Sea is a quaint little village just 5 miles north of downtown Halfmoon Bay. With plenty of great restaurants within a half mile walk, be sure not to miss local favorites Sam's Chowder House and Halfmoon Bay Brewing Company. Don't miss Maverick's Beach, located just a half mile south of the house, which is home to one of the best big wave breaks in the world. A strong storm in the northern Pacific Ocean can bring waves from 25 feet to 60 feet off shore, definitely a sight to be seen. Driving in either direction on Highway 1 will take you to some of the most scenic and dramatic coastlines California has to offer. Drive 25 miles north on the highway and you will find yourself in San Francisco (although there are easier routes to take if you are in a hurry). Driving south along Highway 1 will take you to the famous beach towns of Santa Cruz, Monterrey, Carmel by the Sea and into Big Sur. Or if you wish to stay local, there is a safe and easy walking trail right outside the door that will take you straight to the main street in Halfmoon Bay. While we absolutely appreciate you our guests, here are some heads-up: No Parties/Groups: Please note: While we want you to enjoy your time on this property thoroughly, there is a strict no-party policy. We cannot allow groups of over 10 people inside the property or on the premises. Please do not plan a "toast" or "gathering" of 10+ people on this site, go to a nearby venue that would love your business :). The owner lives next door; if you are in violation of the no party policy you will be asked to leave the property immediately without refunds. Mail: USPS doesn't not support delivery to this address. If you need to receive a package during your stay FedEx and UPS are the two best options. Noise: This beautiful property comes with live shoreline sounds: birds calling, seals barking, waves and distant foghorns. There is a white noise device in the nightstand of the seaside bedroom, but if you are light sleepers or sensitive to such noise, you may want to book a different venue away from the seaside. Like many properties on the Half Moon Bay coast and SF area, the house does not have air conditioning. Early check-in/late check out: Please do not plan your stay needing early check in. If you need to get ready for your wedding or event before 4pm, consider booking/checking-in the day before- you'll be glad you did! We cannot offer late check-out as the cleaning crew often arrives at or close to 11am check-out time, and run a tight schedule. Thank you for reading and understanding/agreeing before booking.
