To take full advantage of everything Kauai and the North Shore we recommend renting a car (Jeeps and Convertibles are especially fun!). Uber & Lyft have barely gotten started so if you’d prefer not to rent a car taxi services are available or with a little research to figure out the schedule, you can take public transportation. For the safety and comfort of you & your neighbors we’d like to note a couple of important things to remember while on Kauai. Please remember you are in a neighborhood - we ask that you extend Aloha to your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially before 8:00am and after 9:00pm. While enjoying our beaches we ask that you are mindful of the surf and encourage you to swim at lifeguarded beaches only. The North Shore of Kauai has several quaint, historic bridges which require an extra consideration of Aloha! These bridges are one-lane only.
