The home is thoughtfully designed to be cozy and minimalist, a rustic mid century space. A cooks dream! The space The living room and kitchen have been thoughtfully appointed with a great view and cozy wood burning stove for cool nights. The downstairs is a den of relaxation. It is furnished with a lush velvet sectional that you will sink into while watching the smart tv - equipped with netflix and hulu accounts accessible as well as a bowers and wilkins sound system. The kitchen, clad in windows, is bright and sunny, equipped with Fellow coffee pour over, Nespresso machine, and an 8 cup coffee maker. It has a new dishwasher, Bertazzoni gas stove, and brand new LG refrigerator. The oak hardwood floors throughout the entire house are original to the house. The primary bedroom on the top floor, set amongst the trees has the most comfortable king sized "cloud bed", with a brand new deluxe Leesa mattress and Coyuchi sheets, an ensuite bathroom with rain shower, and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom has a brand new queen sized deluxe Leesa mattress and a view of the old cherry tree and wooded yard. The third bedroom is perfect for kids, outfitted with an Oeuf brand bunk bed and a bookshelf full of amazing books for kids and teens. The guest bath has a deep soaking tub. All bathrooms have Aesop Shampoo and Conditioner and Body Soap. Each bathroom is also equipped with a hairdryer. The deck off the kitchen has stunning views, especially enjoyed from the Cedar hot tub, complete with a Weber Summit Grill. The large fenced backyard is perfect for a meal outside at the picnic table, fun and games and a campfire at the fire pit. Our home is 13 mins from idyllic downtown Cold Spring or Peekskill and all its cute riverside boutiques and restaurants. We are a 6 min drive to the garrison train station and minutes from the areas best hiking trails. Guest access You have access to self check in through a wifi enabled lock box. You will have access to the whole house and the entire property, with the exception of the basement apartment and a closet and cubby in the primary bedroom that is for owners use only. For stays longer than a week, access to the downstairs laundry room can be made available with prior approval. Access will be through the outside basement door. Other things to note Note, the fence covers 90% of the yard excluding a steep rock wall. It is secure for most dogs.
