Take in the views from the lanai, which is situated on the 9th hole of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, and offers views of the ocean, sunset, Kohala mountains, and the Hualalai volcano. Unwind and socialize while cooking in the fully-stocked open-concept kitchen or using the lanai's gas grill. Entertain yourself with a cabinet of books, board games, or one of the 2 cable TVs. Ceiling fans in every room and on the lanai along with the breezy trade winds will keep you cool and comfortable and we have A/C to cover you during the rare heat wave since it is almost always in the mid-80s. The condo was recently remodeled with new wood floors in the hallway and living/dining room. (NEW FLOORS SINCE PHOTOS TAKEN) The layout is ideal for 2 couples or a couple with older children. We request children be over the age of 10. The master bedroom features one of the comfiest king-size beds you'll ever sleep in, two large closets, and a large ensuite master bathroom with dual vanities and oversized shower with rainfall shower head. The second bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bathroom, which has a bathtub, is located next to the second bedroom and can also function as a common bathroom for guests. We offer conveniences of laundry in the unit, deeded parking, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV in the living room and master bedroom. Our guests can also access our beach closet which holds boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas, float noodles, and a rolling cooler. The activities closet offers children's golf clubs and golf balls, tennis racquets and tennis balls, snorkels, masks, fins, life jackets for little ones, a child's wetsuit, beach towels, bocce balls, and a basketball. Guests have full access to the unit (other than one closet) and all resort amenities. We live "on-island" and are happy to share our favorite spots and recommendations with our guests. We also own a tea plantation on the east side of the island, if you would like a schedule a tour. And we are a short drive to some of the best beaches in the US, with Hapuna Beach, often named as one of the best in the country, located 8 miles away. Waikoloa boasts award-winning golf courses and our lanai looks out over the 9th hole of Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The famed King's Trail can be accessed directly from the resort, allowing you to walk along the coast, spot breaching whales, and see ancient ruins. By car, you can reach: Kona - 25 miles Waimea - 19 miles Hawi - 29 miles Mauna Kea - 54 miles Volcanos National Park - 102 miles The resort is located 18 miles from Kona Airport. Once here, you may not even need a car since Waikoloa Resort, the world-class shopping and dining options of Kings' Shops, and Queens' Marketplace, multiple white sand beaches and a black sand beach, and award-winning golf courses are all within walking distance. Waikoloa Beach Resort also has a trolley you can pick up from the Hilton. The famed King's Trail can be accessed directly from the resort, allowing you to walk along the coast, spot breaching whales, and see ancient ruins. If you do get a car to explore the island, downtown Kona is 25 miles away and some of the best beaches in the United States are located a short drive from the resort. For example, Hapuna Beach, regularly named one of the best beaches in the US, is 8 miles away. You can also reach Mauna Kea and Volcanos National Park.
