LAVA | loft was conceived as a means to experience living in a curated space furnished with a selection of globally sourced, one of a kind items that are rotated throughout the space to create an unique environment for our guests - all of which are available for purchase. The loft was renovated and designed in 2022 by Meg, the founder of LAVA | interiors, and sits directly above LAVA | atelier, Meg’s shop on Main Street in the charming historic village of Franklin. The space The loft was renovated in 2022 and includes vaulted ceilings with an original skylight, marble and black limestone clad bathrooms having radiant underfloor heat with unlacquered brass fixtures, an ebonized oak and black granite kitchen, and the original pine floors restored. The front oversized king size bedroom has wool curtains as the dividing door between the living room for a true loft feel, along with seating within the room. A giant 9’ silk velvet sofa in the living space provides ample seating along with additional vintage and antique seating from Europe. The rear queen bedroom is smaller but has an en suite bathroom within it. Both bedrooms have motorized blackout shades and feather/down pillows and comforters. The space provides modern amenities with the soul and beauty of vintage and antique furniture - all for purchase. Guest access Parking in the rear packing lot, with access to the loft through the front center single door, up the steep stairway, with the loft entrance on the immediate left through the double black doors. Other things to note The loft is not suitable for pets or children as the items are available for purchase. A maximum of 4 guests are allowed as per the village and their permitting.
