A mid-century split level that can host up to 8 guests, this place offers an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the downstairs bonus lounge, the game room complete with several arcade games, relax on the elevated screen porch, sip wine on the large back patio, or come & get toasty by the firepit or grill. The space LOCATION GiGi’s is located just 15 minutes from downtown Greenville. Positioned only 5 minutes from interstate-185 off Augusta Road, several fast food restaurants, groceries, and pharmacies are just a few minutes away. The home sits on over a quarter acre corner lot in a quiet neighborhood. Offering a large peaceful and semi-private backyard with lush tree views for you to enjoy. Fully fenced, you can let the kids run while you curl up on the screened porch or the patio, cook out on the grill, or hang out around the firepit. ACCOMMODATIONS The exterior of the home has a large utility light pole that we pay for to keep the front and side of the home well lit at night. The home is filled with lots of living plants (yay). Plants have been proven to make people happier and make the air cleaner. We love our plants and hope that you do too. But we ask that you please do NOT water them (unless we ask you for a favor in doing so). They don't require much and over watering will kill them. The home has new central heat and air with all new duct work and a new whole home dehumidifier. We’re all about clean, healthy air here! We have fast, high speed WiFi, 3 smart TV's for your streaming preference (no cable), and enough parking to host about 5 standard size vehicles in total. *Please note that even with an all new heat & air unit and new windows, the home is old and can be drafty at times. With this, the heat may not get above 74 on some days. Baby Items: We offer a pack & play, changing pad, and high chair for guest use. The pack & play and changing pad will each come with one linen cover as well. These items are located in one of the 2 closets in Bedroom 1. Bedroom 1: King size bed with memory foam mattress and plush pillowtop mattress topper, king coverlet, down alternative comforter, soft linens, a dresser, rattan chair, 2 nightstands, console table with mirror, 2 closets with full length mirrors, ceiling fan, air purifier which also serves as a second fan and white noise machine, and one bedside charging station for your phones and tablets. Compatible with all Apple, Samsung, and Galaxy. Bedroom 2: Queen size bed with memory foam mattress, queen coverlet, down alternative comforter, soft linens, a 3 drawer chest and mirror, 2 nightstands, a rattan chair, a closet bench, ceiling fan, air purifier which also serves as a second fan and white noise machine, and one bedside charging station for your phones and tablets. Compatible with all Apple, Samsung, and Galaxy. Bedroom 3: Bunkbeds; 2 full size cooling gel mattresses, down alternative comforters, soft linens, a shelved storage chest (only 1 small drawer), closet with full length mirror, ceiling fan, air purifier which also serves as a second fan and white noise machine, and one bedside charging station for your phones and tablets. Compatible with all Apple, Samsung, and Galaxy. **Please note that all bedding other than the fitted sheet is located in a storage tote in the bedroom closet. Bunk beds are no fun to make so we keep the items tidy in a tote until use. Bathrooms: One located on the same floor as the bedrooms and one is located downstairs near the game room. Both bathrooms offer a single vanity, a shower/tub combo, and a "makeup" washcloth which we request guests use for makeup removal in lieu of our normal bath towels and cloths. The upstairs bathroom has complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as a hair dryer. The large downstairs bathroom is also the laundry room. The downstairs bathroom does not have an exhaust fan so a ceiling fan was installed to assist with keeping the steam to a minimum. Laundry Room: The washer and dryer are located at the bottom floor of the home in the 2nd bathroom. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer but we ask that you only use them while you are present in the home. Please don't leave either running while you are away. There will be a 3 laundry pods available for use if needed. Outside of that, guests will need to supply their own detergent. Kitchen: Electric oven and stovetop, refrigerator, separate countertop compact ice maker, microwave, toaster, Air Fryer, Crock Pot, Keurig coffee maker, pots and pans, bakeware, utensils, wine glasses, and other cooking essentials. Additional dinnerware is in the top left cabinet over the stove. **Please note that the kitchen does not have a dishwasher so guests will be responsible for washing and storing their used dishes prior to check out. Failure to do so will result in an increased cleaning fee.** The ice maker is optional to use. If guests do use it, we ask that you do empty it in the sink prior to check out. Once water is added, it takes about 30 minutes to produce continuous ice. The black door in the kitchen is a chalkboard door. Feel free to doodle on it. Chalk, when available, should be on the top of the kitchen cut out shelf. Roasting sticks for the firepit are available in the kitchen. Dining Area: Attached to the kitchen, the dining space and table only allow seating for 5. The adjacent screened porch does offer a dining table and seats 6 if needed. Living Room: Couch (couch cover for pre-approved & paid pets provided), vintage rocker, accent chair, and fireplace bench seating, a smart TV that can be used to log in to your preferred streaming services, 2 ceiling fans, and an air purifier. The fireplace does NOT work. Please do NOT use the fireplace. ** The front door has transparent glass panels. If guests would like more privacy, we have an easy hang black privacy curtain in the coat closet beside the door. Simply unfold it and press the pre-hung Velcro tabs together. Once finished, you can simply separate the curtain from the door, fold, and return it to the coat closet shelf. ** If traveling with a pet, guests are asked to use the provided couch cover also located on the coat closet shelf. Work Space: A desk and rolling chair is positioned in the living room for your work space needs. The Lounge: Futon sofa, chaise chair, smart TV that can be used to log into your preferred streaming services, ceiling fan, air purifier, children's books, board games for all ages, and the large dog crate with divider (please do not move the dog crate. It is in this location for a reason). The lounge is a fun area of the home used as a second living room. This is the area where the louder people of your group can stay awake and hang while the ones wanting to sleep quietly without interruption can. It connects to the adjacent game room and has a door leading directly to the backyard and patio. The Game Room: The second best part of the house (the backyard is the first). Arcades; The Simpsons, Pac Man, Galaga, and Skee Ball. Magnetic wall Scrabble, magnetic darts, 2 chairs for lounging, and a kids play kitchen. NO FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED- Please, please, please. Do not allow food or drinks of any kind into the game room. Please don't allow anyone to stand, sit or walk on the skee ball table, and please also keep the skee ball game balls away from your dogs. They look like tennis balls so they can easily get destroyed if your pet gets ahold of them. Scrabble game pieces and marker are bagged and located on top of the kitchen refrigerator. These can be a choking hazard to small kids and can also easily be misplaced. We prefer they be bagged and on top of the fridge when not in use. Please also don't allow kids to use the game marker :) Screen Porch: Large, 1 patio sofa and 1 patio loveseat for seating (or napping), 6 seater dining table with chairs, amble space to stretch out and play, and a mounted plug in wall fan for use during the warmer months. Backyard Patio: Large, 2 patio rockers and 1 large patio sofa. The plastic storage container under the window holds pillows for the sofa. Please keep the pillows stored here to protect them from the weather when not in use. Backyard: Firepit with 5 chairs and camp-ground style charcoal grill. Charcoal, lighter fluid, lighter, and grill cooking utensils are not provided. Guests are asked to clean their grill mess and remove COOLED ashes after use. Roasting sticks (in kitchen) and firewood are available for use. The yard is huge. Run! Be free! It's why you're here and one of the main reasons we purchased this home. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please do not access any property outside of the fence. Only the fenced yard is part of the home/rental and anything outside of the fenced area is private property. Parking: The driveway can fit 2 vehicles comfortably but the home does have a drive gate. The side yard behind the gate/fence allows 2 additional standard size vehicles to park. We ask that guests please be cautious and courteous in parking behind the fence as to not cause ruts or run over shrubbery. Driveway parking is preferred. Street side parking for 2 vehicles is also available but we do not allow parking in the front home yard. Guest access You will have access to the entire home. The only area guests do not have access to is the outdoor shed and the basement cleaners storage closet. Other things to note This home is full of character and charm of an era past. Lots of love was poured into the details of this homes renovation however, it is over 60 years old. With that, it does come with some imperfections; a few squeaking floors, scratched "worn in" original hardwood floors, uneven plaster walls, upstairs bathroom receptacles that only work when the light switch is on, etc. These items will not effect the quality of your stay however, if you are searching for a flipped home with no flaws, this home is not it. Guests may NOT use the fireplace. It is not operating and not safe to use. No fire, candles, or flames of any sort are permitted in the home. And no portable fire receptacles nor grills may be used on the property, inside or out. Only the grill and firepit at the rear of the backyard may be used. The home was updated in Spring 2023 with a new HVAC unit, whole home dehumidifier, and all new duct work however, it is still a 1960's home. With that, the lounge and basement area may not heat and cool as quickly or efficiently as the rest of the home. They are comfortable in temperature in all seasons but will likely not reach the same temperature as the upstairs parts of the home. Please only access the fenced area of the backyard. Past the fence is a neighbors property and it is deemed private property. We request that you do not access anything but what is fenced in. Please know that a neighbor in the community does have a rooster that you may hear from time to time. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES - Washing and storing any used dishes. - BAGGING and disposing of COOLED grill ashes into the street garbage can. - Emptying your items from the refrigerator/freezer. - Removing all trash and placing in the street can. - Emptying water from Keurig and counter top ice machine (if used). - Unplugging and return all space heaters to the front coat closet.
