This resort-style condo is unquestionably one of the more luxurious on the island, and has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with very generous square footage. It has the ambience of a home rather than the usual condo layout, and is luxuriously decorated and furnished, including wall art and potted indoor plants. There is tile flooring with the exception of carpet in the bedrooms and living/dining area. The kitchen is a chef's delight with plenty of counterspace and well-stocked cabinets to make it easier to prepare full-course meals, should that be on your list. Appliances include a 2-door refrigerator and freezer drawer with ice-maker, glasstop range with self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, and built-in above range microwave oven. The kitchen has tray ceilings with ceiling fan, recessed lighting, a large pantry, and pass through to the living area. There is a double European style kitchen sink with disposal. This amazing corner condo features spectacular sunset views in three directions! On a clear night, you can see as far as north as Sanibel/Captiva and as far south as Bonita/Naples! This resort is located at the quiet southern end of Estero Island and is within walking distance of a myriad of amenities that include a public marina, movie theatre, and restaurants. There is also quick exit via the south bridge to nearby Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and SWFL International Airport. The beach at this portion of the island is expansive, connecting its guests to 7 miles of white sugar sand beach. Trolley service is available from directly in front of the resort to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach, where there is an extended fishing pier and too numerous to count clubs, restaurants, and boutiques. The trolley can also take you south to the secluded Lover's Key park. Amenities at Gullwing include a heated pool, whirlpool spa, tennis court, gas barbecue grill area, as well ample parking. The island's major supermarket, Publix, is just a 2-mile drive away. There is a CVS within easy walking distance. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Gullwing 405 is privately owned and NOT part of the Gullwing Resort Hotel operated by Sunstream Hotels & Resorts. As such, some amenities in common areas offered to hotel guests that pay a hefty daily resort fee are not available to occupants of Gullwing 405, including the fitness center, business center, and bicycle loaners. Entry at ground level is through a secure, air conditioned lobby where an elevator takes you to the fourth floor, then to your left down an enclosed, air conditioned and carpeted hallway to the end, then #405 is to the left, and is a corner unit. There are luggage carts and bellman's trolleys available to simplify your arrival. Walk into an entry foyer and hallway with architectual tray ceiling, sconce lighting, and recessed art work niche with lighting. Immediately to your left is a hallway from the entry foyer leading to the two guest bedrooms and bath. To the left is a linen closet, then the first guest bedroom furnished with a king-size bed, night stands and lamps, a corner chair, and double dresser with wall mirror and flat screen TV. There is ample closet space, and the window from this bedroom looks out to the lush tropical foliage and the beach and Gulf beyond. The second guest bedroom is furnished with two single beds, night stand and lamp. There is a double dresser in here with wall mirror and flat screen TV. The window here provides the same view as the previous bedroom, and there is also ample closet space. The shared guest bath is nicely tiled, and also has a doorless, tiled walk-in shower with ceiling rain shower head, commode, and granite-top vanity with lavatory with wall mirror. Back out into the entry hallway and foyer and to the left takes us towards the kitchen, but first to the right this condo has its own extremely convenient laundry/utility room with full size washer and dryer behind a pocket sliding door. Just think, should you so desire you can return home with suitcases full of clean clothes! Across from the laundry room is the spacious kitchen area as described above. To the left of the kitchen is the dining room surrounded by a bay window and plantation shutters. The view from here is also of the beach and gulf. There is a round glass-top table seating four. Returning to the entry foyer and then left past the kitchen begins the living area. The pass through bar from the kitchen has three cushioned bar stools on the living room side. To the left of the living room, and just adjacent to the dining room, is a wet bar complete with sink as well as an under-counter safe, and there are four cushioned bar stools on the living room side, as well as a chair for the bartender. This area also has recessed lighting. The living room is nicely furnished with a large L-shaped sofa. There is a round coffee table and side chair, and on the right wall is a credenza with large flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure, and a floor lamp at the end of the sofa. On the left prior to going out to the balcony is another sitting area with windows that overlook the beach and gulf, furnished with a chair, cocktail table, and floor lamp. Expansive sliding glass doors lead out to the tiled and screened in corner balcony overlooking the resort pool and spa area, as well as the boardwalk down to the sands of the beach, the barbecue area to the right, and all the lush tropical landscaping. Furnishings include a round patio table seating four, and two extra patio chairs. Back into the living room and around to the left is the entrance to the master suite with ensuite bath. Upon entering the master suite, immediately to the right is the bathroom area with architectural tray ceilings and recessed lighting. There is a separate commode room, a corner garden jacuzzi tub, and a nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door and shower head as well as body sprays. There are dual lavatories with granite-top vanity and wall mirrors, with plenty of cupboard and storage space. Walking back towards the entrance of the bedroom and to the right is a large walk-in closet. Continuing on is the master bedroom very nicely furnished with a king-size bed with night stands and lamps. There is also a double dresser with flat screen TV, and a corner chair behind which is a door providing access to the balcony. The windows here are wall to wall and floor to ceiling, providing the same commanding view of the gulf and the pool and spa area below from a fourth floor vantage point. The island has numerous restaurants and night life for your choosing. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, fishing charters to name a few.
