We're a Christian Bed and Breakfast serving the heart of NE Pennsylvania with vintage lodging, hearty breakfasts, and family entertainment. Everyone is welcome to our table and we're open all year round. Our rustic Mountain View Suite features two large rooms plus a full service eat-in kitchen. This 2nd floor suite shares a common full bath. All second floor adult guests are provided a soft plush bathrobe for the duration of their stay. The Fish & Loaves B & B is affordable family style lodging in the rolling hills of Susquehanna Valley. In addition, the onsite Fish & Loaves Center is home to the Catawissa Coffee House - - a Christian venue that occasionally features family style entertainment on select Saturdays through December! In addition to the suite rooms, guests may freely access the amenities in our Great Room, sun porch, barbecue/picnic area, porch areas, gardens and grounds. We treat all our valued guests like extended family, starting with a hearty home-cooked breakfast every morning. We offer multiple choices from a daily breakfast menu and we'll accommodate special needs diets as necessary. If you're a morning person that loves to converse, be prepared for lively breakfast table banter! Otherwise, your hosts will typically be available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM to meet your needs and answer questions. We'll be present at the breakfast table but otherwise we're low key and available when needed. Our region is famous for it's Farm Markets, Antique Shops, and family oriented attractions and eateries. The Knoebel's Amusement Resort is only 12 minutes away. Knoebels park is nationally recognized for its wooden roller coasters. Also nearby is the Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm with acres of red deer that may be hand-fed from a hay-ride wagon. For racing enthusiasts, the Numidia Drag Strip is less than mile away. And Rohrbach's Farm Market and Gift Shop and Ponduce Farms feature full schedules of family-friendly shopping and events! The Fish & Loaves is accessible by Greyhound and Trailways Bus service to Bloomsburg, PA ( just off I-80 at exit 236). We're located in the "hinterland" of America and security has never been an issue. Hence, individual room keys are not available; however, all rooms latch securely from the inside and all exterior house doors are locked down when we retire for the night. Our puppy dog provides the house alarm system! The listed rates are for a suite of three rooms including a full kitchen. Guests also have free access to all other listed amenities at the facility. The bed count in the Mountain View Suite includes two queen-sized beds, one fold-down Futon, one day bed, and one roll-away. And there is no extra per-person charge for children five years or younger! Note that both the hotel/lodging tax and the state sales tax are included in our nightly, weekly, and monthly rates.
