The Piggery near Bruton

This special conversion of what was once a piggery on a small holding farm is the perfect spot for a peaceful rest. Enjoy the beautiful local walks and very close proximity to Bruton, Batcombe and Pilton, home of the world famous Glastonbury Festival. Situated at the back of our main property, The Piggery has its own gated entrance and sunny courtyard. We are located in a small, quiet Hamlet at the foot of Maesdown Hill where there is an Iron Age Fort and stunning views. The space We converted our 'Piggery' into a space for people to relax in and enjoy the surrounding area. We are proud to have built an environmentally sound space. Repurposing as much of the existing structure as possible, we used stone to match with local historical buildings and Siberian Larch to add some modernity. There is under floor heating to keep you warm and cosy in the winter months and the interior was designed to maximise on the beautiful natural light that streams into the property. The space was designed to for a modernist taste, and we use it to showcase artworks from our own collection and artist friends. The building is single story and has a wide walk in shower. All rooms have light blocking blinds and Velux windows with black outs. You can enjoy a Sky Box with Sky Channels, Sky Sports and Netflix all by way of a large projector. Guest access Entire home. Other things to note We have 2 friendly dogs in our home on the other side of the garden who get very excited about seeing people. Although you are in an enclosed space they may come up to the gate to say hello.
