Two acre fully-fenced small island farm and orchard ideal for family gatherings equipped with a 50 ft. covered porch overlooking the Puget sound with peek-a-boo views of Mount Baker and downtown Seattle. The home boasts 3300 square feet with a ballet barre, sauna, and kid play area in the basement . The master suite has an office and an expansive bath with walk-in shower and soaking tub. The upstairs features a schoolroom complete with chalkboard and kids desks. On the main floor, delight yourself in our recently remodeled gourmet kitchen with soaring cielings, adjacent to our living room equipped with flat screen TV and a cozy cast-iron fireplace. All parts of our property are accesible with the exception of our garage and working shed. Contact free check in and check out. We are available in most circumstances to come to the island in person if needed The house is located within walking distance (.25 miles) to the North End Vashon/Fauntleroy Ferry terminal. It is situated toward the end of a dead-end cul-de-sac road, which provides both safety and privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful with occasional sound of ferry traffic unloading in the distance. We are located .25 miles from the North End Ferry Terminal which provides access to West Seattle (Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal) and Port Orchard (Southworth Ferry) via the WSDOT Ferry system. Walk-on access is provided to downtown Seattle via the King County Water Taxi. The Water Taxi service runs weekdays only (check their website for exact schedule upon arrival). Vashon town is just 4 miles south of our home on Vashon Highway. Our favorite hiking trail (Bunker Trail) is located (.2 miles away) just before the hill descends fully to the ferry. The streets surrounding the north end of the island (not-including Vashon Highway) are friendly to walking and biking with minimal traffic. We have a lot of fruit to eat throughout the year, please graze and eat some!
