Cincinnati is a beautiful city but I’ve been to cleaner cities. If you are staying anywhere within the city limits of Cincinnati like Downtown, OTR and the surrounding area of the city limits you will encounter trash, homelessness and people of all walks of life. With that said there’s plenty to do in these areas which is why it’s so popular. I have stayed here for the weekend I loved it. It was quiet at night and I was able to walk to get breakfast. I enjoyed wine and cheese plate at The Rhined. It was a really cool experience. I live in the city not to far from downtown and I must say this area was a fun experience. Some the buildings are still be renovated into single family homes or condo so there is construction in the area. Findlay Market During the weekends it can be a little crowded being next to Findlay Market but I'm sure you will enjoy the convenience of being able to walk for fresh food. We are located one block from Findlay market. Findlay market is open Tuesday through Sunday however the busiest time is on the weekends when they host the farmers market and live music. During the weekend parking can be difficult during the hours the market is open. TQL Stadium The soccer stadium is just a couple of blocks from us as well so it’s an easy walk. You might want to keep your car parked and walk or use the street car to get around downtown/OTR Parking is explained in more detail in your check in message. People are out late in the city partying and hanging out so you may encounter noise. This is city living folks. Just about everywhere in our city you will find people of all different social and economical status. To put it as plain as possible million dollar houses are mixed in with affordable housing and people live there. On both sides of your AirBnB are single family houses that are valued at just under a million and across the street in a metropolitan building. There’s also a vacant building that I was told someone from China owns. Then right behind our building are some new and some rehab home half million to 1.1 million. We are truly a mixed pot in every sense of the word. With this being said about 95% of our guest love the location and there a few that don’t. You will need to ask yourself am I a city person. Our street is safe, but we want you to be informed that you may encounter both low-income and very-high-income people while you are out and about.
