The main level features a living/dining room with Asian mahoghany floors inlaid with porcelain tiles, beautiful light fixtures and out the wall of windows, and kitchen with pantry, spacious porch, bedroom, and full bath. The top floor has a beautiful master bedroom suite: king bed with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beam, private porch with hanging egg chair, and deluxe bathroom with vaulted ceiling. The top floor has a second bedroom, also with vaulted ceiling and full bathroom. The kitchen has many details not to miss: Marinace granite countertops, cherry cabinets with pulls that have Swarovski crystals, a copper sink, and a glass vessel sink on the prep counter. Appliances are new this year and include a kitchenaid induction cooktop (water will boil in 60 seconds!), a studio line LG refrigerator that makes craft ice spheres, a kitchenaid dishwasher, and a kitchenaid double oven. You'll also find a pot-filler faucet next to the cooktop and a walk-in style pantry. The kitchen island is made from reclaimed wood; in fact, many elements in the home are very eco-friendly (down-spouts empty into garden beds, tankless water heater, nest thermostats etc.). The great room opens to a wonderful covered deck with Chesapeake Bay views, a full sized table for outdoor eating and a high end hanging egg chair. The master bedroom has hardwood floors and a vaulted ceiling. There are Bay views from the bedroom, as well as from the private master balcony deck. There is a walk-in closet and a gorgeous bathroom. The bathroom has a radiant heated, ceramic tile floor, double-size shower with multiple shower-heads, claw-footed soaking tub, and trough-style double sink. We have recently installed a retractable 6ft tall privacy screen which provides an element of privacy for the guests sleeping in the daybed. Note that the ground level area is level with the exterior of the home, allowing for wheel chair access. Chestnut Avenue ends at the Chesapeake Bay, and from the bluff there, just 100 feet from the end of the driveway, you can watch the sunrise while taking in the view of the Bay Bridge. Access to the small community beach and our fishing, crabbing, and boating facilities is available with a visitor pass. Arundel-on-the-Bay, founded in 1890, is located on the Middle Chesapeake Bay within sight of the Thomas Point Lighthouse, south of the Severn River and north of the South River, on a peninsula bounded by the Chesapeake Bay and Fishing Creek, near Annapolis, Maryland. Can park about 6 to 8 cars on the premises. Parking on the street is not permitted. Short walk to the community beach/ fishing pier/ crabbing pier. Guests are expected to keep noise to a minimum in the evening hours, particularly after 9pm, in respect of our neighbors. Our neighbors have our phone number and will call us if guests are being unruly. Pets welcome as long as they are a small breed. No pets on the furniture or in bedrooms. The home has four flat screen TVs and a 3 simultaneous TV streaming subscription to the AT&T TV now Go big 105 channel streaming service in place of traditional cable TV.
