Pioneering Tiny House Close to Hopmonk + Barlow
About the host
Description
This guest house built and hosted by Megan at Ashbury Designs has it all. Situated under a huge coastal redwood tree in the heart of downtown Sebastopol. It is a perfect location to get away, yet be within walking distance of the Barlow, the Hopmonk, the Abbey music venue and all that downtown Sebastopol has to offer. Have a good time without the worry of having to drive. We follow the new recommendations for cleaning to protect our guests from COVID-19. This is your classic tiny (guest) house on a 8 x 15' foundation. The loft ceiling height ranges from 6 feet to 4 feet. The stairs are what they call an Alternating Tread Device, often used on ships and warehouses. You can access the house from the front street or from the alley. The gate code will be provided before check-in time. There is a private front yard area and a back seating area for guests. I live in the main house and love to meet travelers. I'm available to answer any questions you might have. We reside on a quiet residential street that backs up to the Laguna de Santa Rosa wetland watershed to the east. Walking or biking is the best way to get around. The city has recently redone the main thoroughfares to accommodate bikes.
