This exotic, spacious dome looks out on one of the best mountain views in the world. It’s so quiet, wild, and peaceful here. The mountain view is breathtaking. You won’t believe you’re only 20 minutes from Asheville. The dome is rustic and primitive. The deluxe outhouse is about 10 steps up a small hill. There's an outdoor shower on the deck, a comfy queen sized bed, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and hot plate. The energy of a geodesic dome must be experienced. There is nothing like a geodesic dome. You can feel the energy healing you when you are inside. And there is an incredible view. You hear the wildlife all around you. It's like camping, but more comfortable. It feels remote, but note that there is one more rental, out of sight. We also just replaced the main window! So the beautiful view is clear now. Note that there is a two-minute walk from the parking lot to the dome. There is only one queen sized bed. There is space for an extra mattress if you have extra guests, but you must bring the extra mat. PLEASE ONLY STAY HERE if you are seeking a rustic space in beautiful nature. Uber does not come out here. The door does not lock. It's an adventure. There is a lot of information you will need to read. Also .. it's a nature sanctuary so you may be requested to use quiet voices. Some cell phones do not get good signal in the dome. There's an outhouse, outdoor shower, and bugs. Be warned :) This is camping. There will be dust. It's roughing it. THE PATH LIGHTS DON'T ALWAYS WORK SO UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE, I recommend coming before dark. It's not easy to find. If you have a bright flashlight I'm sure you'll be fine. The land is clothing-optional, though so far people don't know that and haven't taken advantage of it! This is a neighborhood full of my friends who all bought land near each other, and who are organic farmers, natural builders, homesteaders, and primitive skills experts. It is incredibly beautiful here. You need a car. You will need to park in the lot immediately to your right upon entering the drive and walk a couple minutes to the dome so pack light! Please bring raingear or an umbrella, and a flashlight. I provide wood for the wood stove, but please bring your own firewood for outdoor fires; you can buy at gas stations. There are outlets in the dome, but not enough power for electric blankets or heaters or toasters. PLEASE COME DURING DAYLIGHT FOR YOUR FIRST TIME.
